bench, squat, and deadlift on the same day twice a week? Your friend must need steroids to recover daily from that insanity!

Edit: 3x per week!
Kortes (sp) is all 3 lifts 3xweek. Works well for some people. Alot of the eastern-bloc related routines are like that, Sheiko and Smolov to name a few.

DAMN IT!!! Now that you put it that way im sorry I even crawled out of my hole and commented on it.

Seriously!!! After seeing the volume of your buddies routine . I think you need to be questioning him about his usage. I cant think of many guys that compete on a regular bases and are good who would use this much volume in there training , using or not.

 1. Hes full of shit. He obvious hasn’t read up on 5/3/1 .Considering that the volume can be adjusted on a individual bases. From just doing the core four Up to throwing every accessory exercise you can think of. So your answer if you haven’t guest is NO!!!

 2. Who gives a FUCK!!! Wendler did a Meet raw last year and if my memory serves me right he posted a 680/405/700. Your buddy just did 575/363/620 at a body weight 20 or 30 lbs less.So how the hell is he to comment .Sounds like he has ā€œWendlerā€ envy.

Ill be honest the roid issues isn’t that touchy. It just when people whom come across completely ignorant of the subject whom want to bring it up. It tend to annoy the fuck out of others. Hell its become a crutch for people to either for one to justify there lack of there own progress . Two to tear down someones accomplishments so they can feel better about themselves and prop up there own ego’s.

And for the the record…Your coming across as a Troll.
I’ll be honest, the steroid issue isn’t that touchy. The problem is, that when people who come across as completely ignorant of the subject want to bring it up, it tends to annoy the fuck out of others. Hell, it’s become a crutch for people to either a) justify the lack of their own progress, or b) to tear down someone elses accomplishments so they can feel better about themselves and prop up there own egos.
