These articles are pretty stupid, and he is a prick of a person, and his physique isn’t special but… Ronaldo is a WORLD CLASS athlete. In every sense of the word.

Well, he did get the continent right (the UK is part of Europe, and so is Portugal), and you didn’t. And even then it wasn’t a serious post.
yeah portugal is in europe, but again he wasnt born in Portugal. He was born in Rio look it up, unless Rio moved its still in south america
mmm no. Cristiano Ronaldo is from Portugal, Madeira. The Ronaldo you are talking about is Ronaldo LuÃ??Ã?Âs NazÃ??Ã?¡rio de Lima and is past his prime. Sorry man but you FAIL.
ill start caring about my failure once soccer becomes important in America
this conversation is funny

Wow, what a typical American thing to say. Just because we don’t play it means that it’s not important. Most of the civilized world plays football you ignorant yank.
Don’t get me wrong Rolando is a good player but he dives to much from challenges for my liking.
oh my god, a better looking richer more successful guy that doesnt want to be a bodybuilder. What a fuckin loser.
Love these threads
And one more reason why soccer sucks.
Everybody knows that anybody who has ever done anything in sports has used steroids. Come on, haven’t any of you watched the Paper, Rock, Scissor championships…you cannot tell me those guys don’t use the juice.
All you Euro guys should chill. We know you love soccer and we give you crap cause you take the bait.
What’s not to love about some skinny feminine guys running around a field in short shorts kicking at each other’s balls. You gotta love that stuff right???

I don’t think this has much to do with soccer. I think it has more to do with Europe in general. Even in America most people think that Brad Pitt is HYOOOOGGEE and on teh juice.

so what you are saying is since most of the world plays it i should care about it? Does that also go with the metric system, should i care about that because others use it? I dont care about soccer because it sucks.

You should care about the metric system.

The anti-soccer comments are really something.
That aside, I think most are missing the main issue - this guy runs 10 kilometres+ per game, twice a week most weeks, plus training. That amount of cardio doesn’t lend itself to retaining a high muscle mass, except perhaps in the legs where the vast bulk of the running is 15-20 yard sprints.
Same goes for basketball players - hoofing it up and down a 90’ court for 30-35 minutes, 80+ nights a year is pretty intense cardio, plus 6’8" guys are generally ecto-morphs, not mesomorphs. So how does Lebron and some others look like anatomy class sculptures?
Top drawer nutrition? Sure. Programmed recovery and disciplined training? Sure. But I don’t think you should rule out the simple answer - steroids.
LOL, ^^^ this guy, and that author belong to the same class of fat retards, why r u on a bodybuilding site when ur physique is so obvioulsy pathetic just by the way you speak

Well if you think of it like that then maybe you need to go see a counselor and make sure you don’t like the dickzz or something.

Dude you don’t even know where the “contintents” of Europe/South America are, let alone what sucks or not…shut up already.
Soccer > baseball
Rugby > American Football
ergo (that means ‘therefore’ in latin for you americans
)
US fails
Quod Erat Demonstrandum (ill let you google that one)
On topic: Ronaldo’s a homo
You got that worng there. American football is tons (metric or imperial, I don’t care) better than rugby.
From the portuguese that I am, to finish things off :
Christiano Ronaldo IS portuguese, but was born in an portuguese island, Madeira (meaning wood), off the coast of Marocco.
I don’t like soccer much, as I find it boring, and the guy fiddles around with the ball too much for what it’s worth.
Still, I think he’s got good lat’s. Didn’t a T-Nation coach/writer say that when you’re stronger on pull-ups/rows, your running speed goes up? Shows a good training methodology…
oooook
sorry to get in the way of america vs UK
but i just got a question, dont most footballers/ soccer players look like that, i mean their cardo is off the charts, all they do is run, and thats everyday, so i would expect these players to have relatively low BF%, not like bodybuilders or sprinters, but below 10% at least,
so what the fuck does doing 3,000 sit ups have to do with getting a body like that? he (Ronaldo) is a professional he goes through fucking training everyday, fucking conditioning, fucking rehab, fucking special treatment cause he is Ronaldo, so seriously does doing 3,000 sit ups a day give a person a body like that?
