We are getting closer. Need something for a yoke, pulling harness and a good rope, maybe a couple more stones and platforms and we will be close. Already had the tire, log, farmers, and axel.

As am I got my log kegs varioud rocks etc farmers are about done, ned to pick up my tires then id like to get stones and a yoke.

Yes I missed out on the Monsters didnt think id be near ready and still my OH pressing with the shoulder has a LONG way to go but hell im giving it my all. Yes My first show is Iowa end of March and then have three more one every 4 weeks should be a blast. Look to add anothetr local one or two in this year as well

Oh gosh, 3 shows in 3 months, your gonna be one used up puppy when you finish that last one! That’s great you have them all lined up, I’m not sure what my next one is going to be after monsters. I think it may be time to deload for at least a month or so. We’ll see.

LOL actually 4 in 4 months and have someone bugging me to do a NON sanctioned meet inbetween the june and july one not sure yet LOL.

Hell try and make the Kansas Strongest again in Salina that wil give you a good month and half to rest recover and get ready.

Wow while since I did back squats, first time ever using a belt I think I missed the 305 because I was trying to hold my breath and push out against the belt, and I am not used to it/doing something wrong.

tried to do some DB Rows but my wrist is still sore and I wanted to keep the strain off it so it will be fine for events on Sunday.

Finished up with some weighted ab work.

Plan to start fresh and get some damn volume back into my workouts next week.

Ha I here ya In thailand few months back got talked into trying a belt on DL one try I tohrew that damn thing in the corner was my fist time with a belt in Prob 14 years LOL truthfully. I did later try it once on sqautting and felt OK would take getting used to. One of these days Ill buy one.

Workout today went pretty good. We did some light log work just to work on form and get warmed up, then went to a heavy squat. Beau worked up to a 550, rex hit 365, and I hit 500. We had a belt and knee sleeves on.

Then we did carry and drag. 320lb keg for 60ft, 300lb sled drag for 30ft, load another 300lbs, and drag another 30ft. The 600lb drag felt sick heavy, and I was the only one to get it, actually twice! I was really happy with my keg carry as I haver never done that before and it’s 50lbs heavier than my show. We were able to get some pics. I’ll try to post them now.
