That’s awful. Here in Ohio it’s been in the 80’s.
And here we are in the low 60’s with rain.
It dropped to 99* here yesterday, and the 88* evening actually felt cool. I’ve had very little energy with this hear, but it’ll pass. If you can just do a couple lifts two or three days a week, it’ll help you stay connected to exercising but won’t drain you too much.
Yeah, we keep saying it’s one day closer to when it starts to cool off.
I was going to try to stop at the gym in town in the evenings but it wasn’t meant to be. Either it was full or I was too tired. We’ll see what happens this week.
Yep, exactly that - one day at a time, and don’t be hard on yourself about lifting and the gym. It’ll eventually cool down, exercising will feel great, then it’ll be cold! Haha

Nope.
Took too long to get my chores done before it got hot. Not a breath of air moving out there.
To be continued…
Try and stay cool girl. Makes me feel guilty for only being in the 90s here.
I thought you were in your 50’s …![]()
Well… so much for going to the gym where there’s a/c ![]()
Packed house last night… nope!

Something beats nothing any day of the week.
Yep! Still 92 at a 9:45 pm
This is just stupid!

we get those warm summer nights down here too. Not nice
I think this is the 47th consecutive day in a row of 100°+. The ground is hot at this point. Like the Mojave dessert on our way home tonight. ![]()
Okay, I tried this out this morning, and man my push up is WEAK!
Made it 5x5x6 EMOM
I think this looks like a good challenge/goal to work towards. Surely you can’t hurt yourself with bodyweight, right?
I wonder if there is a geriatric version? ![]()
That’s insane, wowsers. Must be so draining not being able to escape the heat… it gets well over 100F here down under, but at least we usually get breaks between heatwaves.
Same here. It’s not unusual for it to get 100+, what is unusual is for it to last this long with no break in sight.
