It’s that time of year again.
@TrainForPain I didn’t want to clog up the thread.
I have participated in most of these. I was thinking I need to sit this one out, but I don’t wanna. I have fun doing these even though I know I don’t have a snowballs chance in hell of ever winning.
It’s no secret that lifting for me this year has been random to put it midly. I just can’t get over this hump. The internet is calling it long covid. Whatever it is, I haven’t been the same since I had it. Apparently there about 23 million other people that haven’t gotten past it either. So, maybe I can stop beating myself up about it. The real question is… what can I do to fix it?
I would like to ask @TC_Luoma if he has done research on any supplements that may help long covid?
Yes, I can MAKE myself lift if I take the 3 min rest between sets but by the end of the day I am a wreck. My recovery is absolute shit. It’s like my CNS is shot. The problems seem to come and go.
Brain fog
Shortness of breath
Neuropathy
Fatigue
Night sweats
Random muscle pain
Muscle cramps
Digestion issues
Light headed/vertigo
Nervous squiggly feeling
Anxiety
I have had some of these problems off and on for years but they have never lasted this long. It seems perpetual now, like every damn day it’s something feeling haywire. I know I have autoimmune and histamine issues but I have always been able to slug my way through it.
Anybody have any suggestions?
I am doing the Transformation thing even if I come in dead last again, damn it! Because… if what you’re doing isn’t working, try something else!
