They’re great for rack pulls, particularly for those beginners and intermediates stuck in commercial gyms

yeah… bar is zero.

not yet… don’t want to put too much stress on myself to lose weight. it’s coming off nicely and my strength is still good. i don’t want to jinx it:)

405x4

585x1
655xnope… i’m using a new technique of grip and rip. i setup all wrong and grabbed the bar way off center. i let off instead of straining against it. need more practice…

elevated deads- these are always tough for me but these felt really good tonight. i’ll up my top set by 50lbs next week.

405x3
495x3
585x3
675x3

seated overhead press
0x10
135x10
225x6
335x5- left a couple reps in the tank. this was 20lb jump from last week. i’ll up it to 355 next week and try to keep the reps the same.

standing alternating dumbell curls
40’s x 6
60’s x 6
90’s x 6- video card filled up. only got the first couple. i’ll move up to the 100’s next week.

bodyweight - 265

Great lifts, sounds like you’re taking in a TON of protein. Do you blend whole foods into your shakes – do you use a casein blend?[/quote]

i get 4- 100 gram shakes a day plus my normal meals.

no… it’s just whey and milk. no casein either…just whatever is on sale at the store:)

Ok Boss… I am still confused. But… if you start doing “crosstwit”, I am gonna come down to Virginia and kick you square in the balls, then pour a beer down your throat and shove a Big Mac in your mouth.

I am sure this is just an experimental phase you are going through… like that time in jail… lol! :stuck_out_tongue:

for the record, it’s “crosstwat”… not “crosstwit”… and no i won’t be doing that. kick me in my balls and pour a bear down my throat?? sounds like a normal day of marriage:)

have you been talking to my cell mates when i’ve been in the “pokey”?? I’ve tried many times to convince them that what happens in jail stays in jail and as a last result i throw in that it doesn’t count as long as you don’t make eye contact.

Lol! Too funny. I told my new cell mate, “Hey, you wanna be the mommy or the daddy tonight?”, and he says… “The daddy”… I say “ok, that’s fine, now get over here and suck mommy’s dick!” lol!

I don’t think lifter-experience level descriptions were created with someone like you in mind.
You were probably able to zercher-squat your parents a few days after you were born…

Who? Mine or Meats?

skwatts- been hitting it hard on squat days, so i decided to back off and get in some paused squats today. my goal was to pause long enough to eliminate all of the stretch reflex in the bottom. needless to say, the top sets where hard.

paused squats
0x10
135x4
225x4
315x3
405x3
455x3
495x3
545x2x3- the vid is of my last set. fatigue had definitely set in.

circuit- walking lunges - leg extensions - standing calf raises

some x 2 lapes x 3 some x 10 x 3 some x 40 x 3

bodyweight- 262

Your amazing mannn! Can’t wait to see the before and after pics… This thread is great

Hey Marauder, I’ve been following your videos for a few months and you have some excellent lifts! Just curious though as to why you still rock the belt when deadlifting/squatting, as wouldn’t your core to be doing more work and thus help you in your weight loss?

there are a rare few that can go beltless on heavy lifts. I compete using a belt, therefore i use one when i lift. it’s a myth that a belt leads to a weak core. when i take a deep breath into my belly, it forces out against the belt making it really tight. this protects the entire core from injury. a belt, like my elbow sleaves, wrist wraps and knee wraps are safetly equipment. they keep me healthy and allow me to lift another day. some may use them as a crutch but i have learned to walk that line.
