REZ-V With Their HRT?

Does anyone currently on HRT use REZ-V to help with the test levels? I ordered some last week (due to all of the studies showing the benefits - don’t like wine!!!) and am curious as to how many guys might be taking it. Thanks.

Mike

“There’s a lot of good data in animal models to back this up. Studies have demonstrated a resveratrol-fueled increase in Luteinizing Hormone and Follicle Stimulating Hormone (the pituitary hormones that signal the testicles to start producing Testosterone)”

The problem with some animal studies, its that the chemical/drug is injected. The problem that occurs is when orals are not absorbed and the results are ineffective. So the studies show the mechanisms, but delivery is then the issue.

With TRT your LH will be depressed and I doubt that this product can change that.

It might help with the E, but at $1.50 per day ($10.50/week), it is more expensive than Arimidex at 1mg/week that will work well. Liquid arimidex can cost less than $1.00 per mg. Tablets, 1mg, cost $8 - $10 each. So if you are on TRT , this might not be a good option.

Ksman is right. Your gonna need a bonna fide anti estrogen.

HOWEVER, I am going to continue using REZ-V when I start HRT, albiet at a lower dose.

Cy has said before that even one tablet a week will mimic a diet high in resveratrol. I will probably go with one tab a day to keep costs down( I go full dose now). A 35 dollar bottle will last nearly 2 and a half months, so its not a big deal for price.

Ksman, on a slightly different note, what is your opinion of aromisin over adex? This is what my doc recommended…

It seems like it would still be beneficial in addition to whatever anti-e protocol your doc has you on. I would stack it with HRT more for bolstering the anti-estrogen effect that you should have with your prescribed anti-e’s. The test boosting effect wouldn’t be there as KSman stated and wouldn’t be needed due to the test shots. Also, it offers other health benefits.

My doc scripted Arimidex. Very $$$

I don’t know enough to have much of an opinion. These are an interesting read:

Letrozole can be too effective and E pushed too low will lower your sex drive and elevate your cholesterol.

Its all about cost, effectiveness and safely.

I would like to hear from others on this.

Great replies. Yeah, I agree that continuing/starting Rez-V would be a good idea (especially with all of the health benefits coming out). However, I, too will start at a low dose. KSMan, does the MD always prescribe an anti-E with the injections? Thanks guys.

Mike

Gentlemen, you need to try Liquidex.

Some docs and clinics go for anti-E early on, other docs seem to ignore the issue. So no hard and fast rules. A lot depends on how you react and feel. E levels may be ok on face value, but the way you feel and libido may not be good.

Happy Thanksgiving guys,
Cy was kind enough to respond to me. He recommended 1/week for the health benefits. So, there we go. Thanks everyone. It seems as if this is too good (for many reasons) not to take it. And, now, its not a cost issue (at 1/week) either.
