Was my nameless boyfriend there? Did you give him my note?

Sorry your training didn’t feel great. It looks good on paper. I haven’t done front squats in a while and was never particularly good at them so your numbers impress me.

I guess this describes your training session.

No he wasn’t, so your note is still in my bag. I’m going to say “My friend wanted me to give this to you. Please give it back once you have the right boxes”. Hopefully he doesn’t think that’s too elementary.

The numbers were fine, but my head just wasn’t in it. I was more upset than pissed, so it felt like the session just dragged on. Only one person was there that I knew but I felt like he was following me around like a puppy.

He told me a story about how he had been seeing a girl and he got clingy over last weekend so ruined it. I wanted to say “well you’re clinging to me now so fuck off” but I didn’t want to scar him for life.

Maybe my post was a little too harsh. This should help you out.

After reading this, I’ve decided to decrease my protein intake and eat only cheese and broccoli for my protein. I’ve also decided to do my exercises with one eye closed.

I have my best training sessions when I am in a bad mood.

Your front squat is strong. Workout looked great.

I would be worried about you hurting yourself trying to lift with one eye closed and not getting enough protein but I figured it would be okay because I assume you will be trading in squats for hip extensions.

Thanks Claire. I generally have great training sessions when I’m in a bad mood, but I wasn’t able to channel my anger. It didn’t help that they were playing John Mayer so when my ipod died I had to squat to that…

That movement seems rather sexual to me, especially with closed eyes. Maybe I’m just a perv, but I would feel much more vulnerable to attack if I only had one eye open, was on my hands and knees and kept swinging my leg up in the air…

Sooo… what? I thought that was a regular thing with you. That’s why you have a bevy of admirers.

On the subject of music, I really need my own ipod. The music they play at Goodlife sucks cock… but in a bad way.

I ran. It sucked. The end.

Okay so it wasn’t that bad. I went to the gym with my best friend tonight to run on the treadmill. I had to do it so Coach Bartl wouldn’t get pissy with me for not following everything about his new program to a tee.

My best friend is who I ran my half marathon with last year and she’s kept up with running at least semi-regularly. We’re playing soccer together for May/June so I need to be able to not suck.

I did 4:30 jog / 30sec run at about 75-80% and repeated 6 times (30min total). The runs felt good. The jogs started at about 6mi/hr but slipped to about 5.5 by the last few reps. I feel much stronger body-wise than last year when I ran my half (as I should), but my air sucked a fair bit.

My friend said I did really well and she was impressed with how little I sucked. I told her sucking was her forte and I wouldn’t want to interfere  It helped having her there to push me (just by being there).

It’s a little entertaining because I always try to keep my pace with hers but she’s got about 4.5 inches on me. We were running totally in sync for a while when I was at 6.0 and she was at 6.3. Freaking bitch and her gazelle legs.

I’m like her little guinea pig because she’s currently doing her physiotherapy masters degree. She likes knowing what’s wrong with me and what other professionals say.

We ended up stretching/chatting for another half hour after running and then sat in my car in her driveway for another half hour when I took her home and gossiped some more. That’s what all the cool 24 year olds do on a Friday night

So would you say that the music at Goodlife is similar to your cock sucking ability and skillz?

I wouldn’t say skills and ability so much as general interest level. I’m still in starfish mode.

Fuck it, I couldn’t do it. I just couldn’t do it! I skimmed the hell out of this essay. All I remember is your friend having more inches than you, gazelle legs, gossip at night, and 24 year old women.

I’m gonna drink whiskey until I’ve recovered from this.

Sun Mar 22

Had a bunch of guests at the Burlington gym today. Ouro was there along with 2 other women competing in Nationals in a week and a half as well as one other woman who is also a referee. I hadn’t back squatted in a long time, but I couldn’t give up the opportunity to train with all these women and not test out my new(to me) squat suit.

Eliptical Warm up
Foam Rolling
Mobility

Squats
45x10x1
95x5x1
135x5x1
185x3x1
Suit bottoms on:
205x2x1
205x3x2

I just used the suit bottoms because the straps are WAY too long. The first set with it scared the crap out of me because the suit didn’t feel ‘that’ tight so when I first went to squat and almost fell, I kinda freaked.

After that I made sure I had spotters on the side as well as behind me. The woman behind me kept telling me to stick my ass back. Finally on the last set I wasn’t just searching for the hole and actually got some rebound out of the suit.

When I went to change, I also found that I have my very first squat suit tiger stripes  I was very proud of them! Especially since it didn’t feel like I was getting them! I might take a picture of them heehee.

Oh and at the meet yesterday I found out the June meet I’m planning on doing I can also compete in the 3 lift instead of just push-pull. So I’m going to train towards that (using the squat suit  ) and see how things progress.

I’m so proud…

I hope it doesn’t turn out all shiny like it did on facebook (yes, I had to post it there too heehee).

I can’t think of anything funny or witty to say.

Good job, Court.
