Revolution is My Name

Today involves foam rolling, cleaning, laundry, banking and picking up Bartl from the airport. Wooohooo.

I also weighed in at 67.5kg this morning which means my fatness yesterday was just me being paranoid cuz I couldn’t weight myself.

In other news, I think my dog is mentally challenged. I just heard her gnawing on something and it was a wooden coaster… seriously. She needs help.
Yay on the weight. You must be breathing a bit easier today. Mine hit 55 this morning. It must have been the meatloaf. It was delicious.

When are you going to pick up Bartl? I’m jealous. Not because it’s him but because I know how it feels to finally see someone you’ve been waiting to see.

So this morning it was even lower which means I definitely get to eat dinner! I weighed in at 67.1kg.

I picked up Bartl around 6:30 last night and we stopped for dinner on the way home before bringing him here to gasp meet my folks. Thankfully my mother was back to her charming self and not cranky like she’d been earlier in the week.

I’m up far too early this morning but my puppy needed some tlc. She’s going to the doggie spa today and then is boarding there until Sunday because everyone else is out of town and we’re not home most of tomorrow…plus with having everyone over tomorrow… it was just easier to have her acting ridiculous somewhere else.

Sayjin arrives at some point this afternoon, we’re going to go shopping for cooking supplies and hit this gym this morning to get moving and get some mobility in. My body is famished right now so I need to take care of that first…

That’s great news about the weight. Did you do lot’s of cardio yesterday or something?

I picked up the supplies for my portion of the feast and will do some of the prep tonight after I take Diana M&M shopping.

My weight was back down to 54.7 despite additional meat loaf last night. I’ve packed extra food today. I have to say that I don’t eat a lot of pre-made foods but PC makes a damn fine meat loaf.

Way to go on the weight. Have fun this weekend!

Good luck this weekend

Claire

Good luck tomorrow allstar!

Break a leg!!(or not) :stuck_out_tongue:

I dropped Bartl off at the airport this morning and am finally ready to recap my meet:

Weight: 67.0kg
Total: 307.5kg (680lbs) → Class II
Squat: 125.0kg (275.6lbs)
Bench: 52.5kg (115.7lbs)
Deadlift: 130.0kg (286.6lbs)
7/9 on attempts, 2 PRs

Squat:
112.5kg (248.0lbs) → Pass
122.5kg (270.1lbs) → Miss - 2 reds for depth
125.0kg (275.6lbs) → Pass, .6lb PR heehee

Bench:
45.0kg (99.2lbs) → Pass
52.5kg (115.7lbs) → Pass
57.5kg (126.8lbs → Miss

Deadlift:
107.5kg (237.0lbs) → Pass
120.0kg (264.5lbs) → Pass
130.0kg (286.6lbs) → Pass, 11.6lbPR

I almost punched myself in the face when I missed my 2nd squat attempt. The weight was light, but I started too far forward on my toes and never got the weight onto my heels. As a result, I cut it high and just leaned forward instead and basically good morning-ed the weight up. I got it up fine, but got 2 reds from the side judges. My handler then increased the weight by 2.5kg, gave me shit, let me stew, then got me calm for my third attempt. The weight was light, depth was good. I’m a little disappointed that I missed the lift since the weight itself was light. I would have loved to go for a 300ish lb squat for my 3rd. Next meet

For bench, apparently my second attempt looked like it went up effortlessly. I thought it was tough. After it, my handler looked at me and I said I didn’t want to know what weight he was putting on. My gym, non-paused, PR was 120lbs but I guess he thought I had it in me to go for 126… I unracked, brought down, paused, paused, paused… paused… everyone was telling me to press and I was giving it everything I had but the bar didn’t move from my chest. I couldn’t help but laugh after it. The guy that pulled it off my chest laughed at me and said at least I had my pause down.

Deadlifts all went well. Matt got me focused for the last attempt and talked me through it. It felt tough as hell, but it came but pretty quickly judging from the video.

Yesterday I woke up feeling like I got hit by a bus. I still feel that way. My back is super super tight and the backs of my knees are still sore when I bend them from all the bruises behind them. I’ll post some videos/pictures courtesy of Mr. Sayjin and Mr. Bartl.

Hey, glad to see you’re still alive.

You really are a power lifting rock star and performed well. I really had no doubt you would though.

Other than the ugly untoasted bagel incident, you were a lot of fun too. But that wasn’t my problem so there you go

Yay COURT!! very proud of you!! Way to kick some bootay!!

Okay, getting to the videos… This is my first bench attempt, so 99lbs… easy peasy

My third deadlift… 130kg, 286.6lbs

I was having trouble loading this squat to my profile so I’m going to try directly here…

Nice work. Seeing you and Ouroboro’s videos is proof to me that with just a little time and some real hard work you can kick some serious ass.

Congrats

I’m glad the weather was nice for his last morning. I wouldn’t want him to miss the refreshing morning air before returning to the less favourable climate in California.

He travelled through Buffalo, so coming back into Canada, the border agent smiled at me and after I told her I’d been in the US for 2 hours dropping someone off, she said “You must really like them because it’s early and really cold”.

You should have told them about your 500lb internet girlfriend.

The guy on the way in asked how we knew each other and I almost cracked up thinking of Sayjin.

As for the chucks, they were unable to be acquired prior to arrival. I hope I may have a present when I go down for his birthday. Yeah, that’s right. Him buying ME a present on his birthday

Thanks everyone for the well wishes before the meet and the congrats after… I’m too lazy to go through everyone individually, but I really appreciate it
