Not gonna lie dude, I wish I had vascularity like he does on my arms, it’s largely dependent on genetics though.
firstly, very good genetics if that’s you’re base prior to working out at all. Secondly, you didn’t feel massive because 16.5 inch arms, while not DYEL (for someone of 6 foot) at all, isn’t massive, it’s pretty good though for a natty, even more impressive given you were lean. If you were 5’3 you’d look like a tank (same weight and arm size), and would probably be unachievable naturally (175lb lean with 16.5 inch arms), you’d be approaching absolutely fucking massive territory if you were 5’3, 175 lbs sub 10 percent BF with 16.5 inch arms
They don’t though. Short people do not dominate powerlifting or bodybuilding. What we see at our commercial gyms daily isn’t a good indication of true strength potential.
There is the argument regarding leverages, it’d be easier for me theoretically to bench 225 due to the fact that the ROM regarding taking the bar to my chest is minute compared to someone who is 6’4, hence why I can bench press far more than the majority of individuals within my age demographic (much taller than I), without actually training the bench press (occasionally I guess) due to shoulder issues.
The only difference between short/tall people which could be construed as an advantage… perhaps is the fact that less overall mass can look more impressive as there is less surface area for said mass to cover.
To be honest, you all know, we kinda deep down miss the little fella. He had big dreams and aspirations. He just wanted to teach us about compounds and fitnesises.
I bet he makes an ALT account to keep us updated on them 40 lbs post PCT gains he keeps.
RIP Russian Russki and all his NEW Vains created by AAS’s
Honestly, this is from ONE POST, not counting the 10 times he said penuts and sanwich, but the best part is that he spelled banana and yogurt two different wrong ways. I’m dying here.
