Plot twist. He comes back with his alt account in another 8 weeks looking like bostin loyd.
Thats a work of science fiction right there. Hes more likely to look like synthol kid.
He is only banned until Sep 30th 3019.
I thought that was an freaking typo. I had to double check and laughed my ass off.
Was that always there? I am wondering if the little guy reached out and tried his tough guy act with Chris.
Nope, it’s the same thing that the calisthenics kid got. Just a quick method of banning.
It’s just the forum’s default setting.Technically it’s a long-term suspension and not a ban, if that matters. But for all intensive porpoises, they’re the same thing.
Oh man. It’s probably a good thing he doesn’t know about synthol I guarantee he would have used it.
While funny, I actually think it’s kind of sad, the individual is probably legitimately illiterate which may indicate poor educational outcome (as a child, from low socioeconomic status, dropping out, absent parental figures or numerous variables).
While some extent of mental illness is clearly evident, and a history of prior drug use is fairly likely, I feel kind of bad/ashamed of making fun of the guy. Being mentally ill (even if induced by decisions imposed upon oneself) isn’t the fault of the person, one’s mindset can’t be changed without intervention when seriously ill. Perhaps I’m merely hypersensitive to the cause due to my abnormal neurological development (history of reactive depression due to extensive bullying, chronic pain. Have ADHD, autism, generalised anxiety etc), and thus I can relate to having issues that I’m judged for of which aren’t in my control (lack of social skills, inability to understand certain concepts of which are simple to many, but are impossible for me to grasp) and whatnot.
Not to say I didn’t participate in the tirade of mob mentality…
This comment was probably uncalled for and to OP I apologise
The guy says he’s married, he obviously has a house, TV, internet, phone, a union job, and enough spare money to blow on steroids. Yes, he’s a tweaker ex-con, but there are people out there who are just idiots and do stupid shit. Wouldn’t lose any sleep over it, that dude is on another forum right now, guaranteed, flippin the bird and wiping his ass with the Oxford Dictionary.
Many people do stupid things, particularly the teenage/young adult demographic and myself included. I know many kids who have their heads screwed on better than I (typically the kids who do nothing aside from study, engage in no social activity and/or outings. They’re rare, like a four leaf clover but they do exist).
However I do agree with the notion that some are more prone to making fast paced, irrational decisions regarding large scale concepts of high importance with little thought for long term consequences. That being said I don’t believe it’s right to make fun of this guy, no matter how funny
This is (seriously I chuckled, like legitimately chucked whilst reading this sentence… that’s pretty rare). He’s probably a byproduct chucked aside and/or irreparably damaged by the flawed, fucked up justice/healthcare system we have in place at the moment. Prison systems, solitary confinement, lack of healthcare and/or access to resources for drug addicts and petty criminals lead to many losing grasp on reality and being tossed aside as merely being the underbelly of our society when they weren’t always that way. It’s a byproduct of the flaws we have present in our society (that no one appears to be doing anything about), yet we still have the audacity too judge these people and act as if we wouldn’t be the same had we been through their situation.
I’ve thought about this many a times, suppose I was given jail time due to possession (anabolic steroids, cannabis… that’s pretty much it), how I’d turn out… and the outcome in my mind isn’t great. I’ve already had numerous close calls with regard to falling off the edge, particularly in my youth in response to bullying, feeling cast out by the regular demographic due to differences and whatnot. It’s all individualistic in how we respond to hurdles thrown at us, and some have bigger hurdles to jump over, some make it… and some fall. Those who fall need our support, not negatively reinforced judgement and prejudice.
Just my opinion anyway, I’m not particularly educated on the subject, perhaps wrong and the guy should be ridiculed. However it doesn’t align with my beliefs, each to their own I guess.
EDIT: Not saying my life has been particularly difficult, I don’t know how it stacks up to that of the regular Joe, however I know Zeek (on this form) has been through a looooooooooooottttttttttttt. He has managed to impressively overcome the negative aspects of his past and turn past experiences into a newly developed positive ideology of which allowed him to strive and succeed in this world
The system may be flawed, but not every flawed individual is the result of the flawed system. Some people just suck.
There’s trying to see the best in people, and its an admirable trait I try to use more of in my life, but I think you’re stretching it here.
It isn’t that I see positivity and/or potential in the individual, I tend to be a very pessimistic person, thus it would be the opposite. I just dislike the notion discriminating against those for clear mental illness. Regardless it doesn’t matter, I’ll drop it at this point, just felt it was important to convey my opinion rather than follow the majority despite not being in agreement.
A populace who remains silent despite harbouring different opinions and ideologies is a populace that is typically taken advantage of
No judgement for those that think differently however, should make that very clear. Not trying to start an argument with those that disagree, if you disagree I fully respect that and it’s fine. Individualistic opinions on most subject matter is totally fine with me so long as one doesn’t enforce opinions that harm others or push differing ideology (such as religion, fuck off with trying to convince me I need god… I don’t)
I’m not religious, but many people pushing religion genuinely believe they’re saving your soul. They may deserve some compassion too.
Agreed, appreciated your viewpoint, and agreed with your point, in general, just disagreed with its application here.
This is where we disagree. I feel we are too quick to give the ‘mentally ill’ hall-pass for general assholes. Diminishing expectations for accountability and taking personal responsibility for your actions and choices causes problems too.
Fair enough, however the difference between that resides between the way they convey their opinion. A summary of my previous posts would be me saying “perhaps we shouldn’t make fun of this dude due to underlying mental illness, however that’s merely my opinion, you’re free to do what you wish with you’re own ideologies”. As I felt I should voice the fact that I didn’t support the ridicule of him no matter how amusing it was. The religious tend to push their ideology as fact “save you’re soul from eternal damnation” and will attempt to enforce their opinions rather than state them.
There’s a difference between saying “I’m religious, I believe in the ideologies and concepts that I attain from the bible, coran, torah or whatever and it is of my belief society would be better off abiding by these philosophies” and “You’re going to hell if you don’t believe in the ideology presented by my book, let me save you’re soul, you need god”.
The one is respectful and not forced, the other is pushed ideology of which many may not agree with, especially me. I personally believe religion leads to conflict and primitive ideology being held well past their expiry dates.
True, some people are dickheads, mentally ill or not, intelligent or unintelligent etc. However one’s level of literacy skills may be a factor relating to lack of education (this is the brunt of which we were fucking with him for).
I can understand this, as it’s a warranted quip to make regardless of someones intellectual/mental capacity as his goals were entirely unrealistic. However the grammatical errors, while funny, appear cruel to be consistently mocking. I don’t know what the right answer is here, his literacy skills were absolutely abhorrent and at times borderline undecipherable.
Regardless this isn’t an important conversation to be had. I don’t wish for this to turn into an anti unreal24278 tirade so I’ll bow out here while maintaining my stance on the issue
I think you’re genuinely right here. And being a good person. No worries man.
I have never seen anyone have but the utmost respect for you. To be honest, I have never seen a kid, as smart as you get so much respect in a place where that wouldnt be the norm for someone of your age.
You know “kid” isnt meant as disrespect but just in relation to age. Still being a teenager and all.
Now get your butt to med school and become a Dr.
