I hear ya Stu, nothing new in the mags and yes i understand it’s all about the money but I suppose I liked the idea behind the mag. Actual symmetry and shape as opposed to those FLEX monsters. Which i respect, don’t get me wrong but it wouldn’t be what i prefer.
I just hate the number of ads in the mags…christ it takes you ages just to FIND a bloody article, let alone read it!
I’ll have a look see if i can find Natural Bodybuilding and Fitness over here or maybe order it through amazon. I heard a great line recently, not sure if you guys know your rugby but this new zealander Jerry Collins was complaining that his arms and especially his biceps had gotten too big lately and it was interfering with his tackling. This is from a straight up fella…if only we all had that problem!
I can’t imagine one’s biceps interfering with most athletic abilities. SUre, I guess if your legs got so large that they rubbed against each other when you ran, it might provide a bit of a problem (we’re talking serious roided up quads here though), but I seriously doubt that could happen to 99.9% of people.
Celebrities (or athetes?) tend to exaggerate a bit to make themselves sound all the more impresive to normal folk. Remember Tom Cruise in The Last Samurai? He went around telling some B.S. story of how he did so muc sword training that he put on 20 lbs of muscle just in his arms (?!) -lol.

well this should put on like 50lbs…
ah the indian club workout… just $19.95 if you act now!
No doubt it was a load of trash Stu but it made people sit up and take notice so i suppose the propaganda did its job…
God Cruise really is a total toolbag…sleazy as hell too, how did he become famous again? For being short…(i know too easy).
It’s a fine line between advertising your products and simply BS about their performance. A lot of the mags just want you to believe you can get a quick fix when we all know it takes years…kind of ironic really but we all want an easy solution i suppose.
