Hi, I am going to be away from my gym for a while and will not have access to any machines. I still have a bench and barbell/dumbbells, and I was wondering if anyone could suggest some similiar replacements for exercises that I do as part of my normal routine. Hopefully there are some things I can do that are very similar to these lifts:
Leg Press
Front Pulldown/behind the head pulldown
Cable Row
Rope pushdown/reverse pushdown
Push-up/One arm row combo (Put DB’s on floor, grasp DB’s in push-up position…do a push-up. At top raise on DB off floor as if you are doing a DB row. Do a push-up, do the other arm.
Leg presses suck. Do deadlifts with that barbell and grab a couple of DB’s and do Bulgarian Lunges (I assume you know a lunge…stand in front of a bench back to the bench. Put one foot on the bench behind you…bend front knee until back knee touches or comes near touching floor, push back up.
Do triangle pushups (just like a pushup but make a triangle with your hands, fingers touching)
Have fun that’ll work better than the exercises you were listing anyway. Good luck!
narrow grip barbell press for the triceps. and bodyweight squats till you puke for the wheels. You can even perform squats. You gotta clean and press the weight up though. I think you got it made with a little guidance.
I think my post was misunderstood - these aren’t the only exercises I do, I just listed the ones that I won’t be able to do from home.
Due to the confusion, some people have lifted exercises that I already do as part of my routine…which doesn’t help since they won’t go towards replacing anything.
Are there any exercises I can do with just barbells/dumbbells/a bench that are similar to:

Cable Row

I know what you meant. You listed a bunch of relatively useless exercises that don’t need to be in your routine. I suppose our recommendations were not good because they did not match the uselessness of the exercises they were replacing.
