!!!!!Renegade Training with added exercises!!!!

I will soon start the Renegade training program for football. I know that I shouldn’t worry about this but I still want to increase the size of my arms and other bodyparts. Would it be acceptable to throw in a few sets of barbell curls, shrugs, etc.? Thanks

Depends on your recovery reserves. Louie Simmons believes you shouldn’t mix two different types of strength training into the same workout. How do you know your arms wont gain size as an adaptation to the renegade training. Coach Davies wrote an article on renegade Bodybuilding. Stay the course. Too often people tweak a well thought out program and wonder why it doesnt work. Your arms will grow! At kick off, they wont pull out a tape measure for a quick check to see if you have 18 inch arms. As you begin to throw your body around like a projectile missle, the thought of big arms wont even cross your mind! AS far as traps, your plling movements will take care of that.(ie power cleans and snatches)Dont tweak it.
