renegade training for football

just wondering if any one else has used this program, I just purchased the book, and although there are no sample routines I’m going to set up my own workout using some of the main exercises and princilples I’ve seen on the internet. I think Coach Davies really has something special with this program I’m interested to see what results thers have had on this program, I imagine they are quite impressive, I will do a Pre test and post test and post them later on (12 weeks), thanks and I look foward to your posts.

Checkout the first Renegade Training article in issue 166 Strength Training, Bodybuilding & Online Supplement Store - T NATION
It is a blueprint for a renegade workout however it is advanced. I ordered the MMA specific program from his website and I absolutely love it. It really prepares you for the sport. If you are really into getting ready for your game you may want to order phase 1 level 1 for football as it lays out 8 weeks for you.

I just got the book and I start my new program on Monday. I’m setting up my whole meso-cycle so that I’ll be in top condition by the end of the year. Slowly increasing my work capacity and periodization. Mostly I’ll be experimenting with my own body finding how much I can handle. Luckily, I found a training partner for this. I’ll definitely post my results.

what’s the difference in the renegade football book, and the 8 week programs for football? if i get the book will that be good enough?

I hope this doesnt get confusing - The book is a large reference manual of the exercises and drills I utilize in my training with an enormous amount of photos. It is a huge collection of information that I have never be able to put together in one publication. For reviews please refer to Amazon. The Training programs are entirely different - My programs are designed in 6-8 week periods I refer to as “Levels”. Each off-season of training is refered to as “Phase” and consists of 4 levels. Each Phase of training builds upon the prior one, so to progress to Phase II, you first need to complete Phase I.
