Ancient warriors congregated in the field of reeds to determine the destiny of mankind, but they were not of men. They were the Annunaki.
Haha I love you guys
Hey, Reed, do you know when bands are too beat up to use anymore? Or if there are any signs that it is becoming dangerous to use? Thanks ahead of time. ![]()

You will actually start to see little tears in them when stretched. You can still use them until they get real bad but they won’t have the same tension though as they get worse and worse. But your bands are brand new no reason for them to be messing up all ready if they are I would send them back and get a new pair.

I’ve been noticing some tearing when stretched.
Edit:The image quality of it stretched wasn’t good enough to show it. I recorded a video of it close up non stretched. It personally just looks like the band is peeling at the area. The videos will be up tomorrow morning.
The video uploaded quicker than expected. Quote this message for the link.
DSSG from what I can tell they are fine to use still just keep a eye on them.

Alright, I will. Thanks for the help again. The recommendation for lowering the bar weight on my DE squat work seems to have put it in the right range.

Awesome man glad I could help. How are the ME moves feeling to you.
Heavy Overhead Work at TSF.
Used a Log Bar today since I dont have my Log anymore :-(.
Log Bar Strict Press worked up to 202 for 5. Then went 222 for 2 and finished off with 242 for a single. Now the single was strict but I won’t lie had some serious back arch haha even by my standards but I make it work. All are PRs.
Close Grip Bench: 135 for 15, 185 for 10, 205 for 10, 210 for 10
Tbar Rows CS 3 plates/ Wide Pulldowns 140lbs
1 set of 10/12
1 set of 8/11
1 set of 8/10
1 set of 6 drop to 2 plates for 12/ 8 drop to 100lbs for 13.

Pretty good. I hit a 260X1 front squat on the most recent ME day. There was some knee caving, but not as bad as when I squatted 320. In a couple of days I’ll be doing my light+mini band squat. All of the ME exercises I am fairly comfortable with/have the mobility for. For the good mornings I am supposed to work up to a heavy set of 3-5 until my form breaks down/I feel like I can’t do anymore without form issues (back rounds/abs caving in, or it starts to become a quarter squat), right?
saw dat dere profile pic

essentially yes you wanna push hard but form has to be good on Good Mornings not something you wanna start cheating at to bad.
Thanks again, what would you recommend for me testing my deadlift max? I will likely need a new max to train with by then. Would doing my max squat on week 8, go pull whatever I am going to pull for a max rep, then just do a few sets of abs/back be a good plan?

If I was you personally I would max your Squat and Deadlift on the same day and then do nothing the rest of session that is plenty for sure. I would take a few days off Test your Upper Body moves and then take a few days completely off or at least very very light. Then start the cycle over with new movements unless the same problems are still needing to be addressed.
Squat and Deadlift Day at TSF with Kristi.
Worked up to 70% of my best with Knee Wrap Squat (350) but, did them without Knee Wraps for 2 sets of 5 and 1 set of 10. I had more in me but, saved it for next week and will shoot for 12-15ish.
I was supposed to do Rack Pulls but the guys set up the Rack to Reverse Band Pulls so I just hopped in with them as I figured its essentially the same thing. Worked up to 585 for a easy double. Could have hit 4 or 5 reps for sure but just wanted to take it easy and this was literally double my previous best on this so I figured that would suffice.
Wide Grip Pulldowns sets of 10 all done very strict with 140, 160, 180, 210 for 2 sets.
Triple Set of Ab Table Crunches, GHR, and Hanging Leg Raises. 3 sets total. first set 10 reps, second set 15 reps, third set 20 reps.
Went home and had a bunch of Sushi… and life was good.
