Red Wings vs Penguins!

I almost feel bad that the Wings didn’t take the cup. The puck handling on the Pens side is just downright attrocious. I know that a good defense can make the offense look like fools, but when the Pens mishandle the puck and drop pass to the wrong team they deserve to loose.
I’d say Go Pens!, but I don’t even know if I realy want them to win.

We’ll try it again.

They have managed to schedule every single finals game on my training nights.

2 nuthin wings in the 2nd, but we should,ve learned by now how little that means at this point

Congrats to the Wings and their fans. They are a great team that had us outclassed from the first. I’m not happy about it, but I do feel the better team won.

As they say, we’ll get 'em next year.

Very decent of ya and like I told the guys at the Pens forums. Congrats on a great season ad giving us some fits when it looked over.

I’ll post pics of the Parade.

Kudos to the Wings! They take the cup for the Western side. It’s been a great semi-finals and final series! See you guys next Season at the Shark tank!

Cheers,

RW

SWEET! Hats off to the Pens for playing their asses off when seemingly everybody had written them off. I went to the last parade to celebrate the Stanley Cup. . . not sure if I’ll be able to swing it this time.

Good, good series.

NONSENSE!!! This will be my 4th one. Can’t miss it!!! Hooplah and helicopters baby!!! We had a million plus down there the last 3 times. Hopefully we can get that many again. It’ll give Kwame something else to talk about.

Thank you sir. We will indeed.

Well done Wings…you’re no Montreal Canadians but you will do. The coaches and management did an great job putting this team together within the salary cap, they seem like a team that will be on top for years to come.

Also congrats to Gary Roberts, after the interview on CBC it seems like he is looking forward to playing in Pittsburg next year. He’s had and will continue to have a great career.

WOOHOOO!!

Congrats to the Wings.

I was rooting for the Pens (my boss is from Pitt and a huge fan), but I’m not a Detroit-hater.

I was just happy to see a well-played series. Pitt just wouldn’t go away and Detroit’s defense is outstanding.

Hockey is coming back, I can feel it.

Tough to beat the refs and the Penquins, but they did.

The refs in this series were pathetic. Or parhaps their bank accounts should be examined by thr IRS.

Nah, I don’t think there was any kind of fix. Some Pittsburgh fans think there was one against them actually which is also not the case. Hockey’s tough to call and no matter what they do the refs get hammered. I do think they do the best they can.

The best I could do with all the media around. We managed to wind up right by the Compuware building where every news station was assaulting the team for interviews. There’s more, but I threw this together for now.

pretty hot out there eh?

Yes it was quite toasty. Franzen looked like his lesson for the year had to do with with black shirts and sunshine.

Ozzie and Saint Nick on Leno

Now we have signed Marion Hossa and Ty Conklin from the Penguins. Wadda kick in the nuts for them, especially Hossa. Great player in the prime of his career who will add yet another lethal weapon to our already deadly arsenal.

HOORAY for Kenny Holland who continues year after year to make eye popping deals for our hockey team. I remember Don Cherry saying he thought has some gas he sends through the telephone putting people under his spell. Indeed. Best GM in the league bar none.

The Pens look to be seriously injured, with the losses of Roberts, Malone, Hall, Conklin and now Hossa. Shame really, they are a promising young team.
