Yep. I spent the whole game in the Penguins forums. They are starting to own the fact that the refs are not costing them this series. Extended 2 man advantage late in a one goal game and the Wings may have had the best scoring chance. I think this may be over Monday.
The Wings took advantage of an extra day of rest. By scheduling this game for Saturday, all the old timers came in fresh and held on for the victory.
Who was the Red Wing who missed the empty net with about 29 seconds to go? Bet he got some barbs in the locker room for that. Imagine if the Pens had then scored.
I live near Cleveland but grew up in Detroit, btw. Once a Wings fan, always a Wings fan!

First Bullshit call of the game. No way was that tripping. Although it evens out, the 2 immediate power plays on the Penguins in less than the first 5 minutes of the game. Gonna be a rough and tumble night!

I was confident I would see the cup when there was 2 minutes left in regulation. Then they tie it up, and I keep watching through the 1st intermission, wanting to see it end. Didn’t want to miss it. This cycle repeated until the Pens scored , I got maybe 4 hours of sleep because of this. Damned Sykora had to finally get a point to ruin my night.
