OK, I have a question, as I just got Red Bands as well.

Start with one pill 2x per day? is that what most of you are doing, or are you going right into the 2 pills 2x per day?

Also, is it horrible to drink a caffenated beverage is you are taking Red Bands?? (like a Diet soda, and please, no “you should not be drinking that anyway” comments"

I started with one pill 2x per day for 3 days. Today is my first day using 2 pills 2 times per day. I probably could have started with the 2 pills 2 times per day however as I had no problems sleeping or any type of negative reaction to them. I have no idea on the caffeine question as I very rarely ever have caffeine.

This morning when I woke up I was extremely tired. Between my allergies, the fact I had to do legs starting at 10:30 PM last night and coming into work at 8, I was not a happy camper. I took my 2 pills and now I feel pretty much wide awake and full of energy.

As I stated earlier I weighed 247 just over 3 months ago and was a huge fat ass compared to my old self. I stepped on the scale last night prior to swimming and I weighed 223.5. This is the first time I’ve weighed myself without clothes on as the scale at the gym is in a common area and they wouldn’t appreciate a naked guy walking out there to weigh himself. I then weighed myself with my workout clothes on so I could get a guage for the difference between the gym scale and my mom’s scale. (I really need to get one at home)

I’ve been losing a pound a week for the last several weeks and it looks like I’m still on pace for that. I haven’t had a problem with my diet so the mood enhancers and appetite suppressents of Hot Rox would be of little use to me as of now.

Overall so far with Red Bands I haven’t noticed too much. I haven’t gotten the warm sensation but I have noticed a slight increase in energy. This could be key next week as I will be working from 8-4 driving an hour for a class and getting back home and to the gym at 11-11:30PM. By the end of a week of that I’m really dragging. Hopefully it will help out with my energy levels.

I am already up to 8 caps a day with no noted side effects. I have definitely noticed some increased energy, especially during workouts. As for the warm feeling I experienced with Hot-Rox, it is non-existenet with Redbands. I believe this is due to the fact there is no niacin in Red Bands. I have been losing weight while retaining lbm, but it has only been 1 1/2 weeks.

dfuniversal, there shouldn’t be a problem combining caffeine and Red Bands. Enjoy that cup of java – or soda, as the case may be!

I started taking Red Bands yesterday at 1 cap twice a day. I didn’t notice anything so today I increased to 2 caps twice a day.

First of all I drink a good amount of coffee. On average, two large cups in the morning and two large cups in the afternoon. Navy does that to you. I also have been taking another thermogenic/energy sup prior to starting Red Bands.

That said, I personally think if you have be taking another thermogenic product such as Hot Rox, etc prior to starting Red Bands I think you’re pretty safe on at least starting out at 2 caps X 2.

This morning I was pretty wired but I also had 1 more large cup of coffee than normal. I’ll report back in a few days after I increase to 6 a day.

Question for the Mods…How much caffine is in Red Bands? I know you said above that coffee was OK but is the amount I stated above two much caffine when combined with a full dose (4 caps twice a day) of Red Bands?

I started Red Bands yesterday…first dose 1 capsule…then dinner time 2 capsules…I really didn’t notice much except for a little sleeplessness last night and being warmer than usual. I guess its working! This morning I went straight for 3 caps where I think I will stay for about two weeks to see the results. If they are favorable I will not go to 4 caps. Ill keep you guys informed.

It has been about a week that I’ve been taking Red Bands now. While my weight isn’t dropping like a stone, it is dropping.

However, the funny thing is I’m having great workouts. Last week I posted a PR on the deadlift at 320. This week I just completed a PR at 330. The number of chins I can do isn’t dropping. My numbers are staying up there all around the table.

As I’m getting nearer to the end of my planned cutting phase I am dropping calories a bit and upping the number of Red Bands I’m taking in a day. Protein intake remains over 1g/lb body weight.

Due to my starting fat level I may have to allot more time to get to where I want, but so far it seems that Red Bands, good workouts and good nutrition are apparently helping me retain muscle while dropping fat.

I’m hoping to still have Red Bands left when I start to up carbs. It will be nice to both eat cheap foods again and to improve recovery. I notice a lot more DOMS and that I recover slower without the normal carb intake levels.

Holy crap! This stuff works.

It’s been almost two weeks since I began my Red Bands cycle. I must say, I’am more then impressed with the results so far. I’ve lost a 1/2" off of my waist, and I have lost a significant amount of bodyfat all over my body. Whats more amazing is that my bodyweight is staying the same. I’m still right around 199-200lbs in the morning. I never thought I would say this, but I actually look forward to having my bodyfat tested at the end of the cycle.

Well, I made it through my fairly low carb phase. Today I start back into a more normal diet – I might go a bit overboard for today, but then it’s back to strict logging and compliance.

Starting from 204 lbs I’m finishing up this phase at about 195 this morning. I had made it down to 193 and then rapidly spiked up to 197. I’m not sure how or why, but my protein did spike to about 300g during the uptick, maybe I carbed up via gluconeogenesis or something?

As I wrote before, I pulled some PR’s on deadlifts and have generally kept my strength while on very low carbs. I notice my midsection is hinting at a two pack, but since I was once very overweight my midsection is struggling valiantly to hang on to some flab.

I probably have about a week of Red Bands left…

Okay, nobody else has mentioned this, but this stuff definitely makes me more horny, then my wife started taking it last weekend and it does it to her also, we’ve had sex 3-4 times a day all week. Is this just a coincidence, or does anybody else get this also. I don’t know if any of the ingredients should have that affect or not. I also feel better overall, it’s almost like I’m on testosterone.

Are you only taking Red Bands right now or could it be anything else (eg Alpha Male)?

today was my first day and all I was really interested in knowing is if I got any stinging of the skin and the red blotchiness that the HOT ROX gave me. so far…nothing doing! which is great because that “niacin rush” is embarrassing and uncomfortable…

I already did loose five pounds of pure fat today though…is this a side effect of RED BANDS??

Update…

My waist is down an inch and a half since I started the cycle. Muscle clairity and seperation has improved big time. I still weigh about 199 lbs. I have lost a lot of bodyfat though. My strength has remained the same aswell.

It’s been hard staying focused lately since my girlfriend of 14 months and I went through a bad break up a little over two weeks ago. I have missed over a week of workouts, and missed a few days of Red Bands. It is hard to stay focused when you are extremely depressed. There have been a couple times when I have gotten drunk with my friends and stayed out until 4:00 in the morning which helped me take my mind off of things, but it got in the way of my focus and training. I have been trying my best, and things are starting to get better. Even with all the crap going on in my life, I’m still managing to lose bodyfat which is darn impressive.

Don’t let that derail you brother, use that angst to focus your efforts in the gym, just save it until you need to really push through a HIIT session or squats or whatever, then let that shit loose. I just cut up myself, so I know what you’re going through (diet wise, I mean, not b/c of the gf stuff. Here’s a small pic of the results…

Well I’m moving along rather well with Red Bands. I’m down to 220 lbs from 226 when I started on it. The last two weeks I’ve gone off of my strict low carb diet (17 weeks was enough for now) and have continued to shed weight (body fat % unknown). My strength has continued to improve, though its very slow now. I have about 6 weeks to go until the wedding and will start going strict again probably at the beginning of August.

For those who don’t read back I started back at the gym at the end of March after a 9 month layoff that saw me go from 214-247. My original goal was to get to 220 for the wedding, which I’ve already hit. I want to get down to 215 now and my ultimate goal is down to 210 and I will stabilize there for a month or two before I try to bulk.
