Recent PR's, 1RM's and Goals

Hey Ladies!

I was just reading a thread (Direction of T-Nation in T-Cell Alpha) that had a post by Firebug9 which inspired this thread. Got the impression she, like me, feels a little “left out” or invisible around here sometimes. But we feel far more at home here than at Figure Athlete. Then I read where she said, “Personally I live to see what I can do for a 1 rpm”. After exclaiming, ME TOO!, I thought this thread would be a great way to “call out” other strong t-vixen women who are more motivated by fitness, health, strength gains, personal records and 1 Rep Maximums to stand up and be counted! LOL

Please share some recent 1RM’s, personal bests and future goals.

I haven’t been lifting long (just shy of 4 months) and won’t be testing any 1RM’s for another 2 months but I’ll share what I’ve got:

Squat 1RM April 105 lbs ~ May 135 lbs ~ June 165 lbs

Deadlift 1RM April 115 lbs ~ May 155 lbs ~ June 185 lbs

Bench 1RM April 85 lbs ~ June 115 lbs
There isn’t any benching in my training program yet. Just push-ups.

GOALS
A month ago I said:

Lose 30 more lbs before my 42nd bday in September.
Be able to Deadlift 240lbs (double bodyweight) by the time I reach my goal weight of 120lbs. Pretty confident that will not be a problem. Went from 115 to 185 lbs in 2 months. I’m sure I can add another 55 lbs in 3 months. Heck! Maybe I’ll be able to do reps with double bodyweight by then! LOL

I’ll let you know how I do.

I think this is a great idea. I’ll add mine although I won’t be testing any for a while since starting a new training regimen.

Bench-115
Squat-195 (I only hit this a few times so I’d actually say more like 185)
DL-235
Trap bar pull-265
Push Press-105
Power Clean - 120
(The above two were results of training for a strongman comp in August)

Goals-to do the London open powerlifting comp in September and not embarass myself. If I also qualify for the Provincials in November, that would kick ass.

btw, I added my voice to the women’s comments on the t-cell.

strength is relative - and for 5’3", 107lbs, going on 50 -

DL - 150
Squat - 140
Bench - 105

personal achievement- hitting 10 pull-ups - deadlegged.

goal - hit 2x body weight by november when i turn 50.

the women on this forum are inspiring to me. age don’t mean crap if one has the determination.

Your last sentence says it all. I train a couple of girls just like you. Keep up the good work, and keep posting your numbers.

i dont have 1 rep maxes at the moment but here is where i am at

Bench:
50kg x 5 reps raw

Squat:
120kg x 2 reps (equipt)
80kg x 5 reps raw

Deadlift:
110kg x 2 reps raw

I have a weak upper back that i need to fix for my deadlift, working on it alot these days.

My 3 year goals(although hoping they will be 2 year lol):

bench: 105kg

squat 180kg

Deadlift 185kg (preferably 200kg)

also want to place in top 6 in the IPF JR.Worlds in 2009 in the 67.5kg class

I saw on your log about your 110kg 2 reps. That’s fantastic. I only just hit 235lbs a few weeks ago for one rep. Let’s see how long it takes for me to get to two.

What are you doing for upper back?

Yes. Please. Can we?

Thanks btw for the upper back info. You were very clear. I already do most of what you suggested but I think I may add rack pulls back in.

The same way anyone is… someone made me a part of it. Don’t like it then do something about it but there’s no need to get nasty. Besides, it would be nice if you’d stay on topic please and thank you. : )

Give me a break. You were nasty. Like I said when you PM’d me asking that question:

Bratt wrote:
I would have had no problem responding to you civilly had this message been sent prior to your post asking "how the fuck are you part of the T-Cell? " Now I don’t feel like being helpful or polite. Figure it out for yourself. The answer is out there…

As for APPRECIABLE KNOWLEDGE, that is just your opinion. It’s very narrow minded to judge me solely on the time period I have been lifting. Intelligence, experience, drive, education, etc. are all factor in whether or not someone has APPRECIABLE KNOWLEDGE. A person could be lifting for years and still be a fucktard with no APPRECIABLE KNOWLEDGE.

Fiestyyyyyyyyyyyyy. I like it.

no… not really what the T-Cell is about.

do you think you can add something new to what Prof X knows or Trib?

as for my 1rms let me say I start my 6sets of leg presses at 360lbs.

I haven’t done a 1rm in ages.

why were you added? Hey! If you have some kind of esoteric knowledge I want to know!

I know folks that know the freakiest stuff.

what is your specialty?

I appreciate the esoterica

so what appreciable knowledge do you think Bratt is sharing?

I’ve read her posts.

She wanted to respond to a thread. I let her. If she is a nuisance they can vote her out. I would think at her stage it would be more about learning.

What do your posts have to do with this thread?

Leg presses are the lift you want to share numbers on? And you are questioning her inclusion in the t-cell? C’mon, OG, I’m surprised at you.
