I was just reading a thread (Direction of T-Nation in T-Cell Alpha) that had a post by Firebug9 which inspired this thread. Got the impression she, like me, feels a little “left out” or invisible around here sometimes. But we feel far more at home here than at Figure Athlete. Then I read where she said, “Personally I live to see what I can do for a 1 rpm”. After exclaiming, ME TOO!, I thought this thread would be a great way to “call out” other strong t-vixen women who are more motivated by fitness, health, strength gains, personal records and 1 Rep Maximums to stand up and be counted! LOL
Please share some recent 1RM’s, personal bests and future goals.
I haven’t been lifting long (just shy of 4 months) and won’t be testing any 1RM’s for another 2 months but I’ll share what I’ve got:
Squat 1RM April 105 lbs ~ May 135 lbs ~ June 165 lbs
Deadlift 1RM April 115 lbs ~ May 155 lbs ~ June 185 lbs
Bench 1RM April 85 lbs ~ June 115 lbs
There isn’t any benching in my training program yet. Just push-ups.
GOALS
A month ago I said:
Lose 30 more lbs before my 42nd bday in September.
Be able to Deadlift 240lbs (double bodyweight) by the time I reach my goal weight of 120lbs. Pretty confident that will not be a problem. Went from 115 to 185 lbs in 2 months. I’m sure I can add another 55 lbs in 3 months. Heck! Maybe I’ll be able to do reps with double bodyweight by then! LOL
I think this is a great idea. I’ll add mine although I won’t be testing any for a while since starting a new training regimen.
Bench-115
Squat-195 (I only hit this a few times so I’d actually say more like 185)
DL-235
Trap bar pull-265
Push Press-105
Power Clean - 120
(The above two were results of training for a strongman comp in August)
Goals-to do the London open powerlifting comp in September and not embarass myself. If I also qualify for the Provincials in November, that would kick ass.
btw, I added my voice to the women’s comments on the t-cell.

50kg x 5 reps raw
Squat:

I have a weak upper back that i need to fix for my deadlift, working on it alot these days.
My 3 year goals(although hoping they will be 2 year lol):
bench: 105kg

I saw on your log about your 110kg 2 reps. That’s fantastic. I only just hit 235lbs a few weeks ago for one rep. Let’s see how long it takes for me to get to two.

The same way anyone is… someone made me a part of it. Don’t like it then do something about it but there’s no need to get nasty. Besides, it would be nice if you’d stay on topic please and thank you. : )

no… I want to know who made you part of the T-Cell
you just started this year and you have no appreciable knowledge to add

I’d like to know your 1RMs, care to share?
Sounded nasty to me: “how the fuck are you part of the T-Cell?”

so what appreciable knowledge do you think Bratt is sharing?
I’ve read her posts.
she keeps telling folks to read the New Rules for Lifting

Give me a break. You were nasty. Like I said when you PM’d me asking that question:

I would have had no problem responding to you civilly had this message been sent prior to your post asking "how the fuck are you part of the T-Cell? " Now I don’t feel like being helpful or polite. Figure it out for yourself. The answer is out there…
As for APPRECIABLE KNOWLEDGE, that is just your opinion. It’s very narrow minded to judge me solely on the time period I have been lifting. Intelligence, experience, drive, education, etc. are all factor in whether or not someone has APPRECIABLE KNOWLEDGE. A person could be lifting for years and still be a fucktard with no APPRECIABLE KNOWLEDGE.

She wanted to respond to a thread. I let her. If she is a nuisance they can vote her out. I would think at her stage it would be more about learning.
