Hey @escob_Tntn ! Welcome to the joint replacement community. I have worked with a ton over the years. You’re in good company. And it’s possible to have an awesome performance with your new titanium composite anatomy.

I have three pieces of advice.

  1. Do not miss the opportunity to step back (that is what it seems) and develop great isometric strength through your range of motion. Follow that up with eccentric work to really supercharge tendon strength.
  2. Get a performance-oriented coach who knows how to build performance while respecting the new appliance. He can set you up for long-term success. You are going to be living with this thing for a long time. So don’t screw it up! Here is the guy I (literally) wrote the book with and can help you do the best:
    Master Trainer Pat Marques: https://www.neuroathletechiro.com/performance-training-monument-colorado
  3. As I said, we literally wrote the book. So, if you are interested or you are a trainer who wants the CEUs or knowledge, here is the book on joint replacement via MedFit by us! Joint Replacement Fitness Specialist Online Course | MedFit Classroom

Reach out to Pat, though, for detailed help! Good luck. - Doc
