Realistic Office Mobility

We all know we need to do extensive mobility work to try to negate the hours of sitting we do each day in the office. (Is it even possible to negate it?)

Many physio/mobility books will suggest ridiculous things to do in the office, such as lying down on the floor to do a knee-to-chest stretch, or doing a kneeling hip flexor stretch, and getting up every 10-15 minutes to have a walk around. It’s obvious that the authors of such books have never had an office job, because if you followed their recommendations you’d;

A). Be laughed out of town by your colleagues by lying down in the middle of the floor etc…

B). Get fired, because if your bosses see you off your chair that often, they’re going to assume you do no work.

I’ve been an intern and a temp many times, and fitting in is the biggest part - you don’t wanna be that clown who’s doing the splits at his desk and everyone’s talking about him - otherwise you’ll never be made permanent.

So, with that in mind, has anyone got any mobility drills/tips that can realistically be done in an office. The majority will need to be able to be done in a small toilet cubicle (bear in mind the floor is filthy so no lying on it) - the only place where you’ll get a bit of privacy.
