Rate My Workout Plan :)

hi guys, i’ve been doing bodyweight training for a year now and i’d like to combine it with weightlifting. can u tell me if my exercise choices are good because i don’t wanna overtrain myself haha

Upper Body (2 times a week)

bench press // or push ups (depends what feels better for me)
overhead press
dips
pull/chin ups
bicep/hammer curls
bodyweight row
face pulls
lateral raises

Lower Body (2 times a week)

hanging knee raises
plank
pistol squats
deadlift
bulgarian split squat // or back squat
hip thrust
calf raises

Eventually you will probably want to split up the muscle groups more. Hitting them 2x a week with the same workouts will probably do just fine for a beginner level to resistance training.

I would just leave out the pistol squats and do the BSS and back squats. Just because I hate pistol squats :grin:
