Rate My Deadlift

Oh, ok.

Cuz I just recognized the gym from his log and a woman taking his pictures flexing that looks just like you.

Just out of curiosity though.

No big deal.

You have some great lifts.

Yeah, I forget what the old rule of thumb was exactly, something like The squat will help support a good deadlift, but the deadlift doesnt really help the squat.

What ever you’re doing, its working.

Very kind of you thanks

From the last pecsmex thread, there was some simping and weirdness going on (from layman). For now, I wait.

I feel like I’m living on a different planet from literally everyone else in this thread… so I’m going to refrain from saying what I actually think about this video. I feel like maybe there’s some history here, or something I’m missing, that is making people say this looks good. The comments don’t exactly match what I’m seeing in the videos…

When I see that someone isn’t receptive I just give 'em the okey-dokey, looks good kind of stuff.

I’m not about to get invested in someone that doesnt care what I say.

Just seems like nothing will change and they want some encouragement. There is some history.

I thought you were poking fun due to the last thread, but now I think it’s even more weird that they go to the same gym.

I feel like I need a shower.

Focus on the lifts
It’s just a guy I know

I just have this unusual ability to recognize and assemble bits of seemingly unconnected information.

Couldn’t have said it any better than this!

Frankly, you need to focus on your form. You’re going to blow out your lower back if you keep this up.

Others (including myself) have mentioned ^this, but you seem to disregard these mentions and focus on saying “thank you” when someone compliments the weights you’re pulling. You’ve even gone to the point of saying you don’t hitch, when clearly you do.

Was this thread about helping you with your deadlift, or did you just want a round of applause from internet randos?

Thanks for the feedback probably it’s the starting position that makes the lockout difficult .

(Note that the plates are <1" off the ground)

This will make your back look like a serpentine belt if you don’t fix it. Some spinal rounding is okay, but this is too much; I’m willing to bet if this video was taken from the side, it would further prove my point here.

Get your ass down, lean back a bit (so shoulders are directly over the bar), and try to get your back more straight.

Please tell me you’re not about to challenge me to an underwear posing contest… IDK what “withstanding you” means, but I don’t really want to find out.

You seem to be taking this pretty personally.

Why do you suppose that is?
