ok heres a pic I took before my shower (sorry for the stupid “tough guy” face… unintentional for sure). 210-211 lbs this morning when I went to the gym… since coming off the RFL I feel like I’ve been “filling out”… Or maybe its just me? well anyway… have a good night[/quote]

Wow Greg,

You definitely look ‘fuller’ and more defined compared to the end diet pics. You should do a side by side comparison of the pics. Sometimes it is hard to appreciate the changes unless you do this, but I can see it plain as day! I will be taking some progress pics on Monday after my refeed. I tried last Monday but it was very dark and rainy here so the flash kept messing up the pics.

I have decided to do only one more week otherwise I will have to buy a whole new work wardrobe (with my taste in clothing this could cost a fortune…ha!). I also think that I will be hitting a ‘metabolic wall’ veeeeery soon.

On that note… good luck to all the noobs! For me, the phrase…“Fail to plan, plan to fail,” kinda says it all. Oh, and stay away from the booze. Not only does it impede your progress, but it makes you rationalize eating things you should not  Looking forward to hearing your experiences.

A, you are pretty lean to start with! I am looking forward to seeing where you end up.

One of the comments/observations that seems to be common with the diet is that you can look ‘skinny fat’ some days. I assume this is due to the glycogen depletion and perhaps the holding of subcutaneous water. This seems to dissapear after refeeds a bit, and particularly after the diet is complete and glycogen stores are replenished. So…you might not get the that ‘cut’ look (peak) until after the diet is over.

So…don’t get discouraged if you don’t look shrink wrapped after a week! Good luck and keep us posted on your progress!

ok guys, this morning after eating my fill and then sum last night, my weight peaked at…

Yeah I tried to do put the pics side by side but I couldnt get it to work. I have a macbook and don’t have a paint program to photoshop them next to eachother in… if someone knows how and wants to that’d be cool. Thanks for the kind words. I’ll be looking forward to seeing the progress pics. Good luck

sledding is dangerous! I was up in Tahoe over new years and was on the mountain a lot. Some friends wanted to go sled and people were getting so messed up! You hit one little bump, get airborn, lose the grip on your sled and then its all over lol. Hope its nothing serious and that you’re fellin better.

You’re shooting for 6 weeks? dang i’m sure you’ll look fantastic when you’re done. you’ll have that beach body just in time for summer lol

ok first day went really well, went straight to the shops after breaky to load up with some chicken, turkey and plenty of lean meats.

rest of the meals looked like:

    • shaved turkey ham
    • scoop of whey
    • 1/2 cup greek yogurt
    • lean turkey meatballs
    • romaine lettuce

workouts - Boxing x 1hr
- run x 1 mile

 morning

the back feels much better, i ran 5 miles on the eliptical yesterday which made a huge differenece…the key is to keep moving!!
this mornings class was great…its a weight training class mixed with a little cardio…

for the newbies… the vitamins are a must!!! I started without them and struggled with the energy and mind fog… Now i am taking the exact amounts requirred and feel amazinG!!!

hope you all have a great monday!!!

Robilyn- how long did that take you?(the elliptical)

careful not to do too much!

I’m playing with doing a bastardized version of the rfl, but its not really the rfl, haha…

3 low carbs days in a row alternated with 1 High day…I’m allowing a bit more fat on the low carb days tho,(50-75 grams) and 20-40Carbs PWO…On the high day, I get 100-200 Carbs spaced through the day(20-40 per meal) and as little fat as possible…

I still want to lose fat, but Im having fun with training and intervals etc…not ready to go full force I suppose…want my ‘cake,’ and eat it too!

Have FUN!

Just watch out for the ground turkey you’re getting; they can sometimes be noted as lean, but actually have quite a bit of fat content. Watch the Greek yogurt servings too.

took 50 minutes… which is slow for me… but i didnt wanna go full force, do you think thats too much cardio at a time? its just so hard to not do it, since im used to doing it
needless to say it was interupted by one of my four kiddos every 10 minutes lol
not really but i did have to keep taking my headphones off to “listen” to their issues

thanks for the heads up brick, luckily im a big label checker. i never trust what it says on the fron and will double check anyway. i did notice that about the yogurt too, so i just had 1/2 of the serving which on the one i got was like 4g of carb…

any way 2nd day, down 1/2lb. Just about to have my last meal. whole day looks like:

    • small tin chicken
    • 6 egg white
    • spinach
    • 5 egg white
    • small tin chicken
    • half cucumber
    • 1/2 cup non fat CC
    • 3 egg white
    • 1 scoop pro
    • 6oz lean beef steak (grilled and any more fat i could get off i drained too)
    • large leaf salad

workout = tabata intervals 16min total + Boxing (only 30min)

well, Florida was 3 days of a drunken mess with nothing nutritious entering my body whatsoever! lol

gonna switch to maintenance cals, take stand of where I am, and decide where to go to from here.
