Oh, I am still hanging in there! Stalled a bit, but am just starting to move again so down a total of 9 lbs so far. I started on the 18th so not too shabby. I certainly gets easier!
Can’t wait until tomorrow for my free meal. Not going to get graphic as I hate food porn while starving so I will spare you the torture, but trust me…it will be glorious
WTG Greg!!! I am looking forward to cycling off into maintenance soon. I think I am only going to run this for 3 weeks. Then, as we get closer to summer I may try my hand at UD 2.0 since I will have more time to devote to crazy training.

Thanks doc. I really feel like I’m looking better and better as the time goes on. After getting back to my regular workouts and a less constrictive diet I can tell that my muscles look a lot more full and I’m seeing more definition in my arms & obliques especially.
I wouldn’t get discouraged if the scale weight stalls out. Thats kinda why I didnt weigh myself until the end because I know weight can fluctuate quite a bit depending on how much water you’re retaining at any given moment so I opted to wait till the end (which was kinda easy seeing as how it was only 11 days) For a longer period of dieting maybe once a week or something? Just my two cents. 9lbs in a week and a half is pretty damn good if you ask me
quick update…still going strong here. Skipped the gym yesterday cos my patellar tendonitis was acting up real bad, and I was dead tired. My sleeping has been a little off this week.

so this morning the scale moved… and today is refeed day but i dont want to LOL
knowing i will fluctuate back up… but know its a part of it
i can see and feel a huge difference in my body, i just love it
Brick or anyone who is really familiar with the diet, are there any before and after photos of people who actually had muscle and were looking to lean down to single digit BF? I have been to Lyles forum and it seems that everyone following the diet is either skinny fat or fat. No one looks like they ever lifted weights.

what’re your stats (I.E. height weight and bf%) and your lifts? Im assuming by your post you’re goal would be to just drop a little bit of BF?
188 at the gym tonight. Been forced to cut down on cardio and very little leg work at the behest of my physical therapist. Florida tomorrow…I’ll post some pictures on Tuesday when I get back!

ok heres a pic I took before my shower (sorry for the stupid “tough guy” face… unintentional for sure). 210-211 lbs this morning when I went to the gym… since coming off the RFL I feel like I’ve been “filling out”… Or maybe its just me? well anyway… have a good night

I didn’t take pics while on the diet either time. I was never skinny fat in my life. I only have a pic of what I looked like before the diet that shows how thick I’ve been. Too bad it’s with a shirt on and not so revealing.
This diet is not only for those who are so darn experienced in weight training - so of course you’re going to see people who are not so physically impressive. It’s for anyone who wants to lose weight quickly, whether they are sedentary or die-hard fitness buffs.

I’d suggest reading through this thread and the original RFV vs V-Diet thread if you haven’t already. There are some good tips on foods and drinks to help cravings and also some things about different recipes to try out if you get bored of what you’ve been eating. As far as the weight goes I weighed myself at the beginning and then didn’t weigh myself until the very end but thats just me
