Surge, BRILLIANT!! why didnt I think of that? :stuck_out_tongue: I normally start the Friday refeed normally, go train, come home and om nom nom nom…

DOC- your only up 1lb after your refeed? Thats awesome!! seeeee, not so scary!! Three lbs is the norm for me…

Ren- keep it up!! How much longer do you have?

Soooo, I inadvertently think I started dieting today…I was only going to do it as a modified fast for the week to see if I can drop some water, but now I’m like SCREW IT!

I’m going for 10lbs or 4 weeks, whichever comes first! I want to be solidly in the low 170s…(my official fighting weight) Ultimately I’d love to get to 165, and riiiiipped! I’m 5’9 1/2" and am at 183 as of this morning…

day 7 here  have been suffering from a migraine… the salon does that to me sometimes?
think its the smell from the dye… AHHH the price we women pay to look great!!
suffered through it and had a great workout last night…

feel like a taxi this morning … off to 5 am class back home take the two big kids to their
seperate schools… back home, then dentist appointment for me in thirty …
Had a great workout this morning, had more energy than usual for a monday morning
and got 6 hours of sleep  well close enough lol

started my morning out with Metabolic Drive shake  choked down a HOT-ROX tons of water
a coffee and then omelet more water and my daily pills… does any one else have trouble
with the Flameout pills going down>? just seems they get stuck or something???
now onto getting my pearly whites cleaned

Ren~ great idea on the Surge!! forgot how loaded with carbs it is… THANKS!!

happy monday everyone![/quote]

I think having a piece of salmon or trout or a can of sardines is far more enjoyable than taking fish oil capsules. And less expensive. Sardines cost a dollar a can.

tuna with lower-fat omega 3 mayonnaise is also an option.

Could be, but those mayos usually have a paltry amount of omega-3s. You need 6 to 15 grams on this diet.

thanks!!! I can do the tuna, however i do not eat fish?!?! i know crazy i just cant stomach
it!! guess i just need more water before i pop one in LOL

I was planning to start this diet in April for a nice summer cut, but due to a shoulder injury keeping me from lifting hard and heavy I started today! This is my second time doing the diet; I lost 17 lbs in four weeks the first time. I have been eating for mass I’m so not used to eating like a little girl. IM STARVING!

Day 1 begun
12 egg whites
40 g whey
6 oz chicken w/green beans
6 oz chicken w/green beans
40 gram whey PWO
6 oz chicken w/green beans

good times. started at 247. have to get someone to take pics, estimated BF at 16%

eating like a little girl, haha…

I know, I was starving all day yesterday…went to bed hungry and woke up hungry…

But I’m down 3 lbs!!

chicken chicken and more chicken!!

sodium free chicken seasoning/broth mix is awesome!

Making some chicken right now…1 packet seasoning + 2 tbsp cream of mushroom soup= YUM!!

Another good seasoning for chicken? CURRY!! Try it.

ok so its been over 4 days since ending the RFL diet. Im weighing in at a consistent 210-211 lbs (depending on the time of day) so thats a 7 or 8 lbs of fat lost in 11 days. Pretty impressive

.greg.

 good luck to those of you starting

Great day today… having to force myself to eat? seems i dont get hungry til night!!!
So im saving a little more food for late night snacks lol I think its just the ending to my stressful
days and once i settle down i get bored? and wanna eat?!?!

the body feels soft today??? weird feeling still can tell in my clothes
i did legs and a little cardio today… arms and shoulders sore from boxing!!
I do think boxing is the complete body workout… add a little kickboxing and
im complete!

Do feel a little cloudy in the brain area today… forgetting everything… i always blame this on my kids
lol mommy brain!! now i got a diet and kids messing up my thoughts!!

hope you all have a great day!

so it got me thinking…how do you NOT retain water? eat mostly protein and veggies??
If I can drop 3 lbs in a day, then how much do I really weigh?

I thought I was going to go another round of this hardcore dieting, but Im not ready nor do I think I want to take it all the way ,just yet…I was on a roll with the training(just started 5/3/1), and interval sessions…Im not ready to give that up!!!

BUT, I am going to incorporate some RFL style days into my week…as well as cycling carbs on other days…and Im going to bite the bullet and start tracking food again…

I may go another round of dieting closer to springtime…(if I feel the need) But Im hoping my ‘new plan,’ will get me to where I want to be without being so drastic…

Good luck to all! I’ll be watching

had a protein shake before workout and veggie egg white omelet with coffee after
definatly sluggish in the brain area today… and the scale isnt moving :frowning:
i must press on!!!

happy HUMP day
