I’ve never done a calipers test and don’t really care what the number is but I would like to loose a little bit off of the lower ab region. Cat 1, baby. I actually wrote up an all shake protocol for cat 1:

Here’s how you can do the RFL, cat 1 with Metabolic Drive Low-Carb:

For 12 days, drink 5 shakes per day.
Each shake has two scoops of Metabolic Drive Low-Carb or ON 100% Casein
Mix in some broccoli, spinach and other “free” foods during the day (not in the shake, thats nasty)

Total Damage: $112 for the Metabolic Drive Low-Carb + approx $15 in broccoli, spinach etc = $127.00

Not bad for 2 weeks of groceries. Not to metion all the beneficial effects of the diet.
This is not easy, but it can be done if you are serious enough.

Yea it makes me self conscious in a way when people guess my weight and it’s 20 lbs heavier than my actual weight. I’d like to actually have the EXTRA MUSCLE MASS to weigh what I look like. I don’t like being so light although it’s nice being fast and strong

Hey, I’m on day 4 too! I found that spacing my meals towards the end of the day really helps since that’s when I seem to get hungriest.

How long are you doing it for this time around?

Chim- I’m going for 3-4 weeks or 10lbs…whichever happens first! ya, accept for training days, I normally don’t eat til lunch time!

No not JUST shakes but I’m adding them in (pre and post workout a bit) besides that shakes I’m doing the regular RFL diet.

Just went to the gym and weighed in. Yesterday I was 212 and today I was 205.5!?! What the H? How is that even possible in one day of the diet lol. Last time I weighed myself on the first and last day so I never checked out any weight fluctuations… I’m just gonna chalk it up to that for now.

I haven’t lost a single oz this week, not even water…I don’t think this diet is my friend anymore. It did it’s job when I was overweight…I’d rather torcher myself with cardio even if it meant the last 10 would come off slower.

If you’re down to your last 10 and the diet is frying you mentally, then I would agree. Take a more moderate cal deficit (500 below maint) and bump up the cardio. See how you feel then re-evaluate.
