But I feel ya.
I’m probably going to wait a couple more weeks. Hubby left for deployment almost two weeks ago and I feel like I should give myself a chance for the nerves to settle down before taking on more stress!
Also, I’m making progress on my own just by being strict again(not bites licks and tastes of everything!) and cutting out fruit during the week…basically P+F…some shorts I bought just a few weeks ago are already loose!

EDIT:Ok well I posted a thread about it in THIS FORUM but I’ll kinda post here. According to my new doctor (who ive never meet) my blood tests came back that my kidneys are operating at 75% because I take protein and am so overweight. She said a male my height (5’11") should be weighing in at 170-180 max (while im sitting at 210) She said I need to stop taking any protein powder and lose 10lbs in the next 2 and a half weeks before our first face to face visit so she can re evaluate my blood work.
so I guess I have no other choice but to do the RFL for the next couple weeks lol. hahahaha

What are your BUN, creatinine, phosporous, URR, and sodium lab values. I’m really curious to see how she came up with the notion that your kidneys are “operating at 75%”?
Clinical ideal body weight (IBW) isn’t used for peope who weight train and athletes.

I have no idea? I haven’t actually seen the results I just got this phone call this morning. I have, as recently as 2 weeks ago, started taking creatine so I’m going to stop that till after I get re tested… Dont wanna hijack this thread too much but my thread about it is in the Supp and Nutrit. Forum.

this diet isn’t so bad…yea I’m only on day 2 as a cat. 1. I like to add konjac(glucomannon) to the broth of a HEAVY veggie soup. I also make nice big kale/spinach salads and throw steamed veggies on top. Puree/shred meat and wrap in lettuce and cabbage with hot sauce or any other spices. Oh yea I love my tomato, garlic, and onion tomato sauce! Oh yes, a bag of frozen cauliflower steamed then blended (with some water) into a mashed potato consistancy. And of course, well for me personally, the 215g of protein daily really keeps me topped off. So I’d say including all the veggies I eat I’m bringing in ~1500 calories at 5’9 ~160 ~12% BF. I train 4xs/week primarily upper lower split with some upper body specialization as it’s my weakest point
Decaf coffee, tea, diet soda, and stevia kill all sweet tooth bribery
I did it for a week and I lost 4lbs. This sucker kicks my butt. I am off it now but having been on the RFL it makes me more conscious of my eating habits so that is a great side benefit for when I am not on the crazy thing.
day 5 for me and I want to lose the inch and a half I gained from bingeing ( I know I know) after my last cut phase. However, I haven’t lost a cm yet. Quite upsetting. I’m thinking I’ll add some low volume work on my off days as I’m approaching the last half of the diet until my carb load of what I plan to have 8-900 carbs for starting Saturday around noon-sunday night.
Just in time for 4th of July BBQ
After this I’m going to ramp my calories up ~250 everyday until I hit 12XBW. From there I’m going to go back to eating AD style (use to eat like this for ~3 years in High School).
I realize I feel great with just veggies and protein and higher fat. After 12X for about a month I’m going to ramp up to 18X and put some mass on my larger frame. I’m sick of looking bigger than I am.

…my way of doing this isn’t going to get me a -10lb loss faster than the RFL will. I’m going to start July 5th…take it easy this week, get some shopping done, etc…Then it’s ON!
And what better motivation than my hubby coming home for a week before he deploys ?!

I let myself get WAY too sloppy on my bulk… I’m on day 2 as a cat 2 and so far it’s not too bad.
I will post pics when I’m done, but not till then since I kinda look like crap. I’m at 240 pounds 22ish% bf according to my cheap electronic calipers.
For the record, I will not pull an Artem and bulk up only to lose all my muscle.
1400 calories today, not too bad.

hahahahaha I think i know the picture you’re talking about. Yeah it wasnt that long ago but I have no idea about BF%? I’ve never done a calipers test and don’t really care what the number is but I would like to loose a little bit off of the lower ab region. Kinda chick mode, I’ll admit it, but I would like to just have a little bit moar of da hawt abz for the beach this summer…

Drink a lot of water. That always works for me… I learned that when I was in the military going through SERE School… having no food for almost an entire week you learn to drink as much water as you can so you’re not hungry. Just keep drinking water constantly throughout the day and that should really help

Thanks, I started drinking more as that was recommended in the book and I think by you in the old threads. I do pee a lot though which is always fun. The flavoring system from Biotest is great in the regard as I get something tasty to add to my water.

Yeah thats a good idea. I’ve heard quite a few people use the flavoring for the water. I dont really need to because I drink a ton of water already (1-2 gallons a day) so I dont have a problem with just plain water but when I do i prefer some pink lemonade crystal light. That stuff is delicious!
