The world would be better if alcohol for drinking and other recreational drugs didn’t exist

Quality of life and health would be significantly better if cities were designed to be walkable with good public transport. Zoning laws and cars be damned

Gender inequality wouldn’t be a thing if biological women weren’t the only ones who can carry a baby. Most of the weaknesses that make women less competitive are adaptations for motherhood

If a rape/incest results in an abortion, the perpetrator of the rape dies at the same time as the baby.

The US tried this.

I have a friend who also believes pretty cities make people happy. Portland tried this.

I don’t mean banning. I mean literally not existing

I’m not sure what you mean by this. Traffic, noise pollution, and air pollution are unhealthy. Lack of walkability also decreases activity levels, promoting obesity

Sounds a whole lot better than being in a structurally anti-social siloed suburban development.

Not sure what I’m seeing here, but I’m not interested.

Just a joke, and as you should.

You’re not a fan of the carnivore diet. Nothing wrong with that.

Yeah. Nothing sounds like indifferent mechanically inflicted death like an 80k lb. autonomous machine going 60+ mph.

:man_shrugging:t2: maybe its just me though. I’m indifferent to the razzle dazzle of new technology.

There’s been plenty written about how the design of our cities leads to less walking and, more importantly, less community. It makes feeling part of a community harder for children, families, and senior citizens. See the essay written back in the 80s about how we started swapping out front porches for back patios.

Absolutely none of that should make you think @anna_5588 is calling for a society inspired by Saudi Arabi.
