I know this is the Powerlifting subforum, but I’ll join this thread for a 315 front squat. Current back squat is 345x1 (Oly-style ATG), and front squat is 295x1. BW @ 150 lbs.
Today was gonna be a deload session but I decided what the hell might as well get this out of the way. I’m on the 5/3/1. I had been doing about 260-280 for 10-12 reps, so I thought I might go for it.

The form could have been better. I should have taken longer to set up.
Took me approximately 10 weeks since I started; on to 405!
I need a 315 squat… but I have already deadlifted 405+ pounds. My squat is such crap sigh…

Squatted 285 back in December, and re-tested today thinking I might have improved. Only stuck 285. Failed 305 and 300. I’m going to try again after I’ve recovered to see if I have 295 in me. I’m close!
Pulled 315 this morning while they played madonna’s vogue in my gym. Going to try 315 squat next week.
Long time lurker. Thought it’s time to jump in. 37yr 2.5 years lifting.
I’ve got the DL. Just finished 10th cycle of 5/3/1. I have not tested 1 RM since 12/31/11. At that time squat was 250x5 and 285x1. Today 280x3. May test 1RM next week.
Got 1x120kg with mixedgrip in deads last week( 115kg with a double overhand grip ), only 20kg more to go before I hit the metric 3plate deads( 140kg )
Ps. Does 315pounds = 142,5kg?

And nice work on your pull man! Those 3 plates are a very satisfying milestone to get - I bet it won’t be long!

I have a hard time understanding the imperial system, the pounds is getting easier to understand, but heights dont tell me shit. When someone writes they are 6`1 it doesnt say me anything, I guess they are somewhere between 180cm and 190cm LOL.

squat has been stagnant for months while I figured out how to do it without blowing up my right hip flexor. I think I’ve finally found the right warmup routine and squat form, I squatted 185x10 yesterday in the most comfortable (form-wise), natural-feeling and pain-free session I’ve had since… forever.

Managed to do the Deadlift 315 today.
A bit from the squat though… but its gonna come!
6 weeks of holidays, some time of courses (With the Army), and next week on exercise has some what killed my squatting progress!
First squatting session in 6 weeks, I went 120x3 with no belt or oly shoes. Which isn’t too bad. Lets hope this short stint out bush wont kill my squat any more! Dead lift is still fine. Pulling 180x3 which is about right.
Tried 1RM this week for first time since Dec 11. DL 360. Squat 305. Almost there! 20lb increase on the squat since Dec.

Hit a couple weeks back 305 for deadlift and 295 for squat. So close to three plates I can taste it
Im in for the squat as i have already achieved the deadlift. Im currently at 275x5 but haven’t tested a 1RM for a while so when I do I’ll let you know ![]()
