Great work on the 325, seems like everyone is slowly getting there.

I hit 240 for 12 yesterday, shouldn’t be too long before i have a go at 315 as my predicted max is over 330, but that is using the 240 for 12 reps which may make the calculation a bit off.

So I haven’t been in here in forever but:

Front squat 210x1 and 150x10
Reverse Light Band Pull 315x8 (already have a 330 straight weight pull)

The westside routine has taken quite a toll on my squat after hitting 285 for 1RM couple months back on the same routine. Now on a hybrid Texas Method

haha that’s on smith machine tho i actually only do 352 pounds 4 8-12 on the free weight squat. I don’t get it i weighed like 176 pounds when i was doing that and am 6.4ft tall. really not that big yet some of you guys look way bigger and don’t squat for crap.

Whatup people I just started deadlifting 3 weeks ago and am up to 300x1

If you guys could critique this that would be great! Also, I inputted 300 as my max for the 5/3/1 routine I’m running. I kinda wanna hit three plate on the squat and DL (300 DL, 295 squat) when do you think I should try to retest it?

first, here’s a cookie. you’re in the wrong thread and you should be going for a 4 plate squat. hence the DQ.

second, eat more cookies (and burgers and meat and potatoes and everything). at that weight you’re anorexic looking.

you lock out your knees too soon and finish with your back. when the bar clears your knees, squeeze your glutes to drive your hips forward.

looks like you’re pulling sumo? based on your speed, you should be able to hit 315 on your next try depending on how aggressive you are off the floor.

The optimal program to get to a 315 squat or deadlift is the 5/3/1. I also recommend switching to sheiko 2 months a the year to build volume, and switching to westside to peak for your next meet. This is the methodology I use and no other protocol has brought me maximum optimal result gains. Louie Simmons the greatest strength guru of all time says max effort, dynamic effort, repeated effort, etc.

I’m currently rehabbing my shoulder, should be back to lifting in a couple of months hopefully. Keep at it!

Got 265x4 Today. Getting closer and closer every week

Hi guys, can I play? Been lifting for quite a few years now. Last year tried 315 deadlift, but only got up to my knees. Tried 310 and got it up, but ugly. Currently working in upper 200’s, getting stronger so form is better.

Had to rework squat last year, wasn’t making depth, now getting down there. Two weeks ago did 205 x 5.

Made it! Hit 145kg tonight 319.6 in lbs. Probably had a few more kilos in the bag too! Off to the 405 BS race but staying here for my FS. Hit a PB of 130kg tonight 280.6. Hopefully hit the 315 FS before June.

I haven’t been playing but I got 315 deadlift today for the first time. No belt. 135 bw. It felt great.

Thanks man, I weigh a lot more than you, so don’t be too jealous. You are close anyway right? What program are you running to try and get there?

Yeah I’m at the European 3 plates, so only a couple of kg away. Im using 5/3/1 so dont max much.

What do you weigh? Im a 80kg even.

I’ve been doing Stronglifts 5x5 for a year now, currently doing 3x5

Max Squat is 300 lbs.
Max DL is 270 lbs.
BW is 180

I don’t attempt my max often, but I’m targeting 315 in DL and Squat by June '12.
