I other news I was supposed to bench like this today

Instead my training partner miscalculated and ended up loading it to 190 for the first set. Getting those 5 was doable but more difficult then it should have been, and I ended up hitting 205 for 4 instead of 5. Fuckin’ pissed. Should I still move up to 210 x 3 on Friday?

If you’re doing 5/3/1 I recommend doing 210 for 3 as planned, shit like misloaded bars will happen. I would finish the cycle before resetting.
Sure, anytime. Just for clarification, when I said “I would finish the cycle before resetting.” if you get 210 for 3 and you get your (220?)1+ on 5/3/1 day don’t reset just keep going as normal.
as of today. I know I can Deadlift 315 for 1, but I know me saying that isn’t good enough, so next thursday I’m going to try 315 for a triple… Squat is near a 315 1rm too, another 2-3 weeks and I’m pretty sure I’ll have it, not sure when I’ll actually test it though.

Gratz. We have similar stats on our DL. It’s weird cuz I can only get 5reps at 305 on the Sumo DL but I can get 10reps on my Squat at 285.

Thank you. Do you squat wide or shoulder width? Just curious because maybe the sumo pulls have been helping your squat if you squat wide, because the muscles are being used similarly etc
Got 275 for a pretty easy single today. I usually don’t push failure, so having maximal weight on my back was something I wasn’t use too. I’ve also been very sick, so 275 (should have attempted 285, could have gotten it) is something I can be happy with. I know I’ll be able to knock out 295 in about 4 weeks, so not that worried.
