Using 5/3/1…
Next Monday I’m slated to Sumo DL 315 for 1+ and I feel that I’ll get it for 3 to 4 reps. Last cycle for my 5/3/1+ set I hit 305 for 4 reps.
As for back squats… I’m still building after my back injury. Lucky for me it didn’ keep me from doing Sumo DL for long but it took longer to get the squat back. Sunday for 5/3/1+ I’m slated for 275 (I think, don’t have my log on-hand) on the last set. I started back to squatting pretty light and for my 3/3/3+ set I hit 9 reps for 265 so I should hammer the 275 pretty good.

hit a 265x5 DL and a 250x5 squat recently
so basically, not my best squat day ever today, did 2 singles with 275 and then did a bunch of lower weight higher volume sets. I know i have more in me but my hips were really tight and sore. 315 will have to wait.
275 sumo DL for two. Lots and Lots of work left to do.

I’ll join in. Started on ‘Starting Strength’ about a month ago. I’m about 148lbs right now, looking for that to go up as well!
Squat = 175lbs 3x5
Deadlift = 275lbs 1x4
I’ll hit the deadlift soon enough I’m sure. My body is much better suited to deads than squats… long arms and torso, shortish legs.
Did 180lbs 3x5 on Squats. 5lbs more than last time.

Got a 315 orange reverse band squat on friday. Insane PR for me. Dunno how much weight it took off from the bottom. But happy none the less.
220 x 3 squat
Today I hit back squat 275 for 6 (1+ set) and I reversed pyramid back-up, 3 → 5. I’m actually not happy with it and probably could’ve gotten 8 but my head wasn’t right today. Tomorrow I get to sumo DL 315, hope I can get my head on right.
DL an easy triple @ 275 today, gunna do 285 for a triple on thursday

I have the deadlift in the bag (although i have been stuck on 315x5 for like 6 months) but i still have some serious work to do on the squat, not sure of my current max but am testing it on Friday and i am going to start 531 next week. Looking forward to making some serious progress towards a 3 plate squat!
