225 on sumo deadlift for 6 last week, I won’t feel accomplished till I hit 500 given my lankyness

you still having problems with mobility?
if you are you should(if you have not already) definitely check out mobilitywod’s videos. All of the hip mobility videos have helped me a ton in widening my squat stance and squatting without pain at all
Ever since I got the adistars my mobility has been fine. I’m squatting way lower than I was before and not having any hip pain or knee pain. I will still check out the vids though.
episodes 56,87,112,144,88,234,207,137,164,97,198 and 182 are all on hip mobility etc. All for squats n deadlifts basically.

Your mobility is just as bad as it was without the adistars, the shoes are simply masking it due to the better leverages for the hips. Don’t let shoes mask issues, fix said issues.
Closing in on a 315 Squat/Dead so i will throw my hat in for some extra motivation.

This i believe is mostly due to not have been doing alot of narrow ATG Squatting which i just started doing as of the the 1st of the year and i bottom out low as i can go Hammies to Calves.
Box
I tend to have a good bit of forward lean in a wider powerlifer stance and can pretty much good morning the weight up if my legs can start to move up off the box.
Not good i know which i am addressing the issues of Weak Abs & Lower Back and lowered the working weight to work on form better.
Hope any of this made any sense.

Very good point as this is one of the things i will need to correct.
Lowering the weight and working on form and my weak areas should help with Rocking off the box.
Not sure if it matters or not but when i squat ATG i use a High Bar position and Low Bar when i Box Squat.

Post a vid and you can get critiqued on your form from a lot more experienced lifters than me.

Hips and knees are fine I just cant get past parallel with my feet flat on the ground. The slight raise in the heel allows me to get to ATG depth perfectly.
Been about a month since i last tried a Heavy Single for Deads so figured tonight was a good as any other.
Worked up doing Doubles
Sumo Dead Lift
135x5x5
185x2
225x2
245x2
265x2
285x2
295x2
305x2 PR
315x2 PR
325x1 PR
Last Month was at 295 for a Dble and tonight 315 flew up for a easy 2 and ripped 325 for a single using a Mixed grip. All Dbles where done with a over hand grip.
Now i need to work on my Squat as it gives me the most trouble.

Not so much. The heels artificially give you more ankle flexion. This extra ankle flexion takes the place of hip mobility and has the potential to start knee problems. I would suggest using the shoes for the mean-while, but religiously working on your hip mobility. Once you have the mobility, go for no heel and if you still feel more comfortable with a heeled shoe after giving no heel a good chance, go for the shoe with the heel but maintain the hip mobility.
