nahh it was all me. I didnt even realize he had his hands that close until I watched the video. He’s not my normal spotter, I had to workout at a differ time then my normal training partners, I’ve had him spot me before and he didn’t have his hands that close so I didn’t think of telling him. No worries though, this was touch and go and in the gym so its not official official. Wait two weeks when I do 320-325 with my normal training partners(:[/quote]
Nice lift, but don’t count it until it is true competition style. I have hit 320 for 2 touch and go, but my comp best came last week at 303.

315 to a 2-board with a 2-count pause too

Volume with my supps is getting better too.

Hit a big PR tonight. It was really easy and just done on a whim after speed work.

Got 120kg today

132.5 kg for 1 rep, no pause though. Will get 140 kg in a month or 2 I think.

I’m in. Maxed out 290 quite awhile back. Working my way back up and should be around 300ish? Gonna be doing 240lbs 3x8 in a few days. I weigh 185.

I just joined and this post caught my eye cause my goal is to double my weight. 315 is just around the corner of that. I way about 150 and did 280 1 rep max the other day, fairly easy. I hope and plan to hit it by this summer. So I’m in.

I think I’m there, or just shy of it at least. Hit 303 for my third attempt (with a pause) at my meet on Saturday. This was a little bit of a fight, but it think I could have pushed another 5-10 lbs.

Consistently hitting 120kg for multiple sets of 4, 125 for triples and I benched 130 for 3 doubles last week (265, 275, 285lb respectively). I’m looking at doing a bench-only meet in April and smashing above the 140kg mark :smiley:

I think It will be at least 6 months to do that. I’ll be happy if I make it in 5 I plan to keep gaining weight so that should help. The layers have worked well so I’m using a working weight in low 200’s going to add 5 pounds to the cycle this coming week.Top set will be 225.

You are more optimistic than me. We are sitting at about the same strength level (guessing) and I am just hoping for it by the end of the year. Maybe I will surprise myself though. Good job so far man and good luck.

I don’t think i’ve ever posted in this thread but i’ve followed it and a 140k bench is one of my goals this year.

Lol, you’re both more optimists than me I guess. I’m sitting at about 280 and 315 in my year end goal.
