Question on Technique

Hey everyone,

I’ve been weightlifting for 9 months now learning by myself and watching video of Klokov on youtube. Today, i’ve talked to one of my friends who made me question myself about my technique.

In a snatch, once i’m at knee level, i’m already in a RDL position to quickly explose when
I’ll reach the pocket. As shown by klokov at 0.59 :

Well, since i’ve learn by myself, i don’t know if it’s ok to do the same as the pros or I should stick to some classical technique cues. Also, the friend i’ve talked to told me I should use more of a jumping position just like the Xiao do at 0.19 :

I’m really confused and I don’t know if Klokov just use a particular technique to fit his physique or both of these techniques are ok.

You hit the nail on the head, it depends on your levers. Just keep shoulders over.
