What is this first set last deal you have been talking about? Which book is this in?

Its in beyond 5/3/1 page 12. The basic principle is once you’ve completed your last work set (say on 5 week you do 65%x5, 75%x5, 85%x5) you go back to your first work set (65%) and do AMRAP / or the other variation is you hit your first work set for 3-5 sets of 5-8 reps

It means First Set Last - which is exactly what it is. There are many different ways to do it: R/P, BBB, 5’s, Pause, etc. Just kinda depends on what you want.
