5/3/1 Sets and Ferrous

My confusion is with the meaning of 5/3/1 sets and reps. Is it the weekly progression or just 5Ã?75%,3Ã?85%,1Ã?95%?
Please don’t ask me to read the book again, I’m asking you because I’m genuinely confused!

Week 1 you do sets of 5 reps (go for a PR on the last set),
Week 2 you do sets of 3 reps (go for a PR on the last set)
Week 3 you do sets of 5/3/1 reps (go for a PR on the last set)
Week 4 you deload.

That’s how every single 5/3/1 template is set up and described (with examples) in the book. There is no reason to think one would randomly differ in how the prescribed work is planned without it being explicitly stated.
