I’ve come across an article which refers to an athlete’s 1RM, they determined by his 1RM that the althlete is in the 100th percentile for his bodyweight. Have you heard of such tables/functions to calculate max effort by weight class? Can you direct me to such information. Thanks
I think this is close to what you’re looking for www.elitefitnesssystems.com/ documents/elite.htm I don’t know of any which have ratings based on what’s elite, national class or whatever & percentiles of the population who can get that high (that’s what you mean, right?) but somebody else might. I know Speed & Strength by Dale Harder (Ironmind used to sell it) has tables on that stuff like what percentage of the population can lift a certain weight. I don’t know if that helps or what.

I’ve never seen percentiles, but I’ve seen a chart where you could find yourself on a table whether you were world, national class, college star, college player, high school star high school player, middle school star, middle school player level for the bench and the squat.
