Dude, I am 5’10". Big difference hitting 225 at my weight vs your own. Same with being 250 in this condition.
Well the leanness is different…and you won’t ever know because you won’t ever get that lean.

According to you.
yeah, the leanness is different, but you are 3" taller than me so you at 225 is like me at 200lbs or less.

8 pounds per inch? What?

This thread implosion has been mildly entertaining.
anonym wrote:

Because Professor X is a highly disrespectful person whom I actually believe simply likes deceiving others and making them feel bad.

Perhaps he says “I look better than you” simply to objectively point out that he has more expertise than the person he’s speaking to (which in a crude way is one way to look at this), but I actually believe it is more so to humiliate and insult the other person, which he apparently likes doing. I used to think he wasn’t a mean spirited person, and was just “difficult”, but I no longer think that.

And all that wind we are hearing is the sound of X backpeddling. Prof, I’m glad you think everyone else envies you. It must be a nice way to go through life being better than all of us common folk.

Tony, you look like a beast. Nice work.

I dunno about you man. I’m like so envious of a highly disrespectful, mean spirited dentist who goes to a gym and eats large amounts of food.

FWIW I do not think you look bad in that second pic if your goal is to look big like a defensive tackle or something like that. If “bodybuilder” is the goal, which you said it is not, then that is a different story but if big, muscular and “looks like I lift” is the goal then I think the second photo displays that.

(Photos can be misleading, one way or the other, so I don’t know if this is an accurate display of how you look all the time but based off of this one photo that is my opinion that no one actually cares about)

Question, if fat loss can be seen that fast, why would I worry about being heavier for a while if it can help me maintain more muscle in the long run?
NorCal is acting like a tool, but at least he bumped this comparison since I missed it before. I don’t know if this has been addressed, but I’m feeling a little confused:

Are you using a picture that you previously claimed DOES NOT prove you were carrying too much fat because you purposefully manipulated your appearance (big meal, etc) to make yourself appear as sloppy as possible, per:

"For instance, that one pic was taken on a super full stomach with me TRYING to make it look as bad as possible. Yet, for some reason you are using that as how I looked most of the time?

… and then using that as a ‘before’ photo in a three week transformation comparison to prove to us, the people to whom you already clearly admitted it was a misleading image, how quickly you can lose fat?

At first I thought you meant it in a, “Supposing I WAS that fat…” kinda way, but you then immediately followed up with a response to cally’s query (about why you wouldn’t keep cutting if it’s so easy and painless) which stated that you were “working on gaining more muscular size which takes longer and takes more effort”… which, to me, at least, is a tacit admission that the before picture is a more truthful representation of your physique than you previously stated. Otherwise, you would have followed up instead with something along the lines of, “No, what I meant was that if I COULD drop fat that fast, why would I care so much about it,” right?

Oh, and you then followed that tacit admission with:

“…since (not “if”… SINCE) losing fat is that easy to me as seen in those pics…” which, actually, blows right past tacit into full-blown admission.

So, which is it? Were you REALLY that overweight and can you REALLY drop fat that fast… or are you trying to use a dishonest image of your day-to-day physical appearance to trick us, the people whose opinions you don’t care about (stated in a different thread, not gonna track it down sry), into thinking just that all so you can win an argument on the Internet??
Well done

I don’t even understand the level of confusion in this post. This can only happen if someone is literally searching hard for some fault to complain about.

I already knew I was fat in the fat before pic. I never said I wasn’t. I said I also gained fat during that time period to maintain that body weight because it was after a car accident.

I was in a car accident one year and then a major motorcycle accident the very next year.

How could someone possibly get as confused as this post of yours is?

What else is it you don’t get?

Actually, none of you do much as far as “nitpicking” the actual points of discussion or debate with me. Most of you spend your time fussing about my ego and trying to psycho-analyze me over the internet.

If my points of debate were so easily countered there would be no need for the personal attacks constantly.

But thank you for the compliment. You look impressive also.

Thank you…truly.

For the record…I started lifting seriously when I tried to walk on as a DB my first year of college.

I weighed 170.

So I put on roughly 55 lbs without ever losing abs or relative leanness…so take that for what it is worth.

Both of these posts are ridiculous.

I don’t think everyone envies me. I think people have different goals. No one degraded any one of you for your development or insulted any of you.

In fact, I wrote that all of you look impressive for the average gym going crowd.

To find fault in that is just searching for nothing. My personal goal was more size. the real question is why suddenly no one can discuss the goal of getting bigger because apparently anyone who does this is just gaining all fat or has delusional imaginary muscles…instead of actually managed to gain more muscle than most.

Then why did you try so hard to convince people you weren’t as fat as the picture seemed to show? You kept crying that you had just eaten a big meal and that was the reason your gut looked so big.

What is it YOU don’t get? Everyone else fully understood what he meant.

Since YOU don’t get it, here’s the dumbed down version. You used a pic you admitted to sticking your gut out in after a big meal to make you look worse. You then used said photo as proof of how easy it is to lose weight in 3 weeks. Which is false just like the magazine claims you were trying to copy.

Is that easier for you to comprehend, or do we need to make it even more elementary for you? Are you really this dumb IRL?

Relax…you just wrote three paragraphs that did not have anything to do with what I wrote…deep breaths.

I was pointing out that I put on 55 lbs while staying lean…to most that is preferable to getting Permabulk Fattie and then TRYING to diet down to be lean again.

You said it is easier your way…I disagree.

/of course you still have to get lean at some point.

//good luck

Because I did eat a big meal before to make it look even worse. I said that already. What is it you don’t get? You are trying too hard. I also said I took pics the same day with less effect BEFORE I ATE that were stolen in my iphone.

Maybe if you spent more time actually reading what I write instead of looking for key words to complain about, you wouldn’t need this much explanation.

It wasn’t just about what YOU wrote but what the guy you quoted wrote as well.

I responded to both of you.

Incorrect. This shows you don’t even understand my point.

No one cares if you prefer to stay leaner. DO YOUR THING. However, I gained more than just 50lbs of muscle. That is the point…so for some of us with goals of gaining way more, there will likely be some time of not looking ideal.

What are you finding fault with?
