PWO Shake Recipes

Here is mine, now lets here some more.

2 scoops chocolate flavoured whey
1 cup frozen mixed berries
1 tablespoon natural peanut butter
1 cup of milk

Tastes delicious!

Protein 60
Fat 11
Carbs 38

Also contains approx. 11 grams BCAAs and 8 grams glutamine

35g Hydro Whey
25g Maltodextrin
25g Dextrose
25g BCAA powder
5g Creatine
5g Glutamine
9g Chocolate flavouring.

Suck it up.

1 Scoop Whey + 1 Serving Surge. The end.

Two scoops of Surge.

End.

Well there’s my PWO drink that I have immediately (Surge) and there’s my PWO meal that I have about an hour later.

PWO meal:

1/2 cup plain lowfat yogurt
1/2-3/4 cup dry oats
1 scoop vanilla whey
1 cup frozen fruit
splenda

…blend it up

My fav has been with blueberries.

1 banana
5g BCAAs
2g Beta-alanine
5g creatine

1 Scoop ON Gold Standard Chocolate Whey
1 Scoop Micellar Matrix Chocolate (micellar casein)
25g Dextrose
25g Maltodextrin
2 Scoops Biotest Superfood
5g Glutamine

30g whey
60g dextrose/maltodextrin

1hr later:
1 scoop casein
3/4c oatmeal
banana and blueberries
yogurt or milk

2 Scoops ON Rocky Road Whey
50 Grams of Dextrose
5g Creatine Monohydrate
5g L Glutamine

Tastes not the best but it works well I think!

Sometimes I like to make protein pudding with my PWO shake. Basically Surge + Grow! Whey mixed with just the right amount of water to make it a pudding like texture. Then of course I make sure to drink enough water on the side since I’m not getting it in the pudding.

I used to play with my own home concoction, but I get better results with Surge and it tastes way better.
