Hi muscular people from all around the globe, I need some advice about pwo-shake. I used to think that whey was the way to go but now I found out that everyone has their post-workout shake. Some take gatorade with Grow!whey , other only take creatine and bcaa, other Surge, etc. What kind of pwoshake do you recommend
1-For muscle building (hypertrophy)
2-In a fat-loss phase
each considering I have a low-budget and I can’t afford Bcaa and little creatine
Right now, I am training strenght and I don’t drink any Pwoshake. I have a kind of post-workout meal 25min later because I have to walk to my house. What do you think of milk pwo? Is lactose a good sugar?
I don’t much about lactose in that regard but the protein in milk is casein with is very slow digesting, not optimal for PWO. You really need whey. Just go buy some cheap protein from walmart or something and some maltrodextrin, mix it up and tah da! You’re good to go.

Chocolate milk is quite nice on any budget. Cheap replacement for surge and taste yummy. While it isn’t as great as
Surge, adding in a scoop of protein isolate makes it even better.
Look this is what I do. most the time PWO I’ll have 90-120 carbs from maltodextrin. Then I’ll eat about 60-90 carbs from kids cereal (fruity pebbles, frosted flakes,i buy 99 cents shit) with a scoop of whey protein powder added in.
So I’ll use maltodextrin or waxy maize directly after (waxy maize a lil price though sometimes, but GOOD stuff). Malto is cheap as hell usually though. Sometimes I’ll get dextrose to use after the malto. Yet I said fuck it kids cereal should do fine it being higlycemic and all.
Yet I’m a skinny bastard so DO NOT eat as much I just stated above. Adjust to how much your body can handle properly.
Yet always take in whey, it digests very fast.
but pwo workout for carbs anything with some simple sugars will do though if supplements are not affordable
