Pulled My Bicep Again - Recommendations Please?

Hi on Monday i pulled my right bicep bracing myself with the leg press handles but was doing 10 reps so not a huge strain and arms bent. i had trained bi’s the day before however and they were sore. Last time a minor pull happened it took 3 weeks to repair and then despite friction massage and stretching it was knotty, which worked itself out and I started on 15 reps then 10 after 2 weeks then 5-10 after 4 weeks. I lost alot of size in 3 weeks on my bi’s n back though, and wondered if I could carry on training at a 15 rep level still? I did today and there was catching as there was after a 3 week rest and after a 4 month rest when i did the other side years ago. I am getting ready for a competition in 4 months and need all the time i can get, but obviously will rest up rather than worsen things. I am going to use Deca into the muscle and am seeing my physio. I plan on using GH in the future as it seems my tendons are getting weaker as I progress carefully.

All kidding aside, there’s a few issues here. First, how in hell do you pull/strain/tear(injure) your bicep doing leg presses.Should not happen. Gripping those handles tightly while moving a load probably puts your blood pressure through the roof. I would say there’s a few things you should consider before using deca,or GH.Maybe a post on your training will help .Too much volume will usually lead to breakdown,in this case, your bicep.

Stop designing your own training program, you obviously don’t know that much about training. Your body must look like hell if you strain that much on the leg press machine. Machines inherently create a physiological imbalance. You are only as strong as your weakest link, so why train on the stupid machines…I’ll tell you, for looks. Well now, you not only look out of shape and hurt, but stupid. Training must involve attaining your goals systematically by steady progress as well as prehab and holistic approaches. Try renegadetraining level one programs are 95 bucks. If you really have hurt yourself like this more than once you need to seriously change the way you design your training program.
