You’ve got to be kidding on 1-3.

I will answer #4. Yes.

Push/pull many times refers to upper body exercises only. But you asked;

Squat- push w/ legs/hips
leg curl- pull with hams
deadlift- pull with hams, hips, erectors etc.
calves- both are push… TOE raise would be pull
upright row- pull with traps, delts and biceps
and absolutely you can do that combo #4)

Although you CAN do chest/biceps one day and back/triceps another day, it is not a very logical pairing. Consider the bench press: it works both chest and triceps. Now consider the bent over row: it works the back and the biceps. Now which pairing seems more sensible? I suggest you pair chest/triceps and back/biceps.

:
1.Pull exercises ? = You push something AWAY from your body

2.Push exercises ?= You pull something toward your body

3.Which of the following exercises are Pull and Push ?

BACK SQUAT= legs compound. you can target different muscles to an extent by bar and fott placement as well as depth of ROM

leg curl=legs isolation
deadlift = can be used as a pull as you are Pulling it up and it is a compound movement with many variations. I have used Stiff leg dl’s on Pull day in a psuh pull legs routine.

standing heel raise= calfs isolation

seated heel raise=calfs isolation

upright row= Verticle Pull

4.Can I work Chest-Biceps one day, and Back-Triceps other day. If not, Why/ Sure you can do you want to hard to say. I ask you Why would you not be able to train with that split and where do your legs and core fit into such a program.

Hope that helps,
Phill

Even tough I was a smart -ass? Cool! I just thought it kind of mentally deficient to ask what a push and a pull is…by definition it should be easy enough to figure out.

Good Luck!
