Looking strong Doogie. 270x9 on the bench is awesome. You doing any squats?[/quote]
I’ll sometimes front squat, but I have shitty squat form. I have a bulging disc at L5-S1 that I aggravate even warming up on squats. Until I can get with someone to correct my form, I’m staying away from back squats.

Good idea not messing with a bad disc. Hope it heals up. You’re really doing a great job with the fat loss. I know its not easy.
Doogie, sorry I didnt get on this post earlier. I think now with your results that it goes without saying, but this is by far the best site for people who have serious goals and are willing to put in the work as you obviously are. Keep it up man.
This time last year I was 320 pounds - 48% bf. Really shitty considering less than 10 years ago I was playing front row and second row for a top tier international rugby team. But shit happens, right? I got my shit together and fixed my diet, started lifting, and added some cardio. I lost a ton of weight (mostly fat) but started losing muscle - until I found the tnation and some folks like cthib and then the entire tnation it seemed kicked in with some tips, motivation, entertainment, etc. I’ve actually gained weight but it’s been muscle and I’ve dropped body fat to just over 25%. Still have a ways to go, but its guys like you and everybody else on this site that keeps me focused.
