Nice Doug real nice. I think this gets back to what we read back in the 90’s about over eating and putting on lean muscle mass along with the fat. You using straps?
Thanks. I agree. I know my arms are bigger than they were when i was working out before, just not nearly as defined. It can’t be all fat, though.

No straps, just grab and go.
Has to feel good though that the strength is still there for Dead’s. Not like the average guy is going to start lifting and pull 5 reps with 315.
Strict standing military, no leg drive

Cut things short because I have to go pick up a rental car (and I’m sore as hell). Weighed 255 this morning. 7 pounds of water weight down in 3 days. Damn, I’m a puffy bastard.

As odd as it sounds, just make sure you are keeping your water intake up. You’re gonna flush alot of toxins when you are losing fat.

Trying to get near a gallon down a day. A lot of green tea, too.
welcome. remember, you have to start 5/3/1 soon or we’ll kill and eat you.
I am starting 50 lbs heavier than you. If you haven’t already, check out a book called “protein power lifeplan” by dr micheal Eades. I am doing their “old dude” program called 6 week cure for the middle-aged middle, and its working (that one may not be appropriate for you, since you’re still just a kid. anyway, Shugart’s writing turned me on Eades, and I am now a big fan of their stuff. check it out.
they also recommend that you give blood as frequently as you can because of the toxins released when you lose the fat.

Thanks. Had Pizza Hut pizza last night for my cheat meal. Weighed 257.5 this morning. Interested to see what I weigh in tomorrow at the one week point.
