PTP

Im 15 year in may. I want to gain strength in the bench press. I weigh 56kg, and my bench 1rm is around 65kg. (143lbs) Should i do a ptp cycle? I want bench strength so bad, and my goal is to bench 100kg (220lbs) when im 16. Is that a decent realistic goal on a ptp cycle?

i was thinking about this program:

What do you think?

What do you think?

Insane in the brain! Insane in the membrane!

WTF?

Anyone serious folks?

I, along with just about everyone, think that only concerning yourself with bench pressing is a mistake.

I started at about 155 when i was fourtenn ( i mean bench press) I will be 16 in july, and i now bench 265. You can acheive your goald fairly easy i should think

Please don’t focus on the bench as a water mark for strength. If this is about machismo then do the dead lift. That is a full body move exhibiting full body strength realistically. Not to mention I’d much rather see you loose sleep over that and not the bench. Also,a big back is more impressive, more functional, and improves your over all symetrey much more than a big chest. All in all, work the whole body. You want to be big and strong all over don’t you? I’ve seen guys with only big chests… they’re called male models and they’re wimps (most of them anyway).

in a year you want to bench almost doulbe your body weight (add 50lbs) at only 15. shit. if you do it you’re the man. i was in the same situation when i was 16 and it took me about 3years. but i really had no idea what i was doing.
For you, i would recommend to learn to deadlift and squat and get your body weight and total body strength up and the bench will just come.
Good luck

??? Don’t even know what you are trying to acomplish here… READ More articles in this forum…

I would suggest throwing in something for the biceps and shoulders pal.
Broad shoulders and big guns is very manly.

Danny- didn’t you get enough ideas from all the people trying to help you the last time you posted?

Start one of those basic routines suggested there, stick with it, and eat like a HORSE. Now is the time in your life when your gains will come FINE if you just do the basics.

As I hinted at the last time you posted, you’re own paranoia about the bench press will eventually be your own undoing if you’re not careful.

Others here are right. Build the WHOLE body for now- your natural growth pattern plus an increase in general strength will take care of the rest. Now get on with it!!SRS
