So, I bought this Site Offline and have been playing around with recipes. Today I tried 1/4 cup flour, 1/4cup liquid egg beaters, and a spoon of cinnamon… cooked in a non-stick skillet with a very small amount of olive oil. For syrup, I use a half serving of vanilla flavored whey mixed with water (or milk if you prefer). Actually, pretty good and very easy to make. Nutrition comes out something like:
Protein: 30g (varies slightly based on protein powder, 18g in pancake alone)
Fat: 3-5g depending on how much olive oil you use
Carbs: 7g (2g sugar).
these are the ingredients:
oat bran (1cup)
egg whites(at least 8oz)
1/2cup cottage cheese
soy/reg milk(8oz)
1TBS of cinnamon
2 scoops banana casein protein powder
1/2 banana fruit
add water until you can blend it, because it will be thick, very thick
when cooking, add frozen mixed berries to each pancake(this is important for it to taste damn good)

Those do sound good, but I don’t normally have time/resources/money to get too fancy. Simple recipe, simple nutrition.
That sounds good, I’ll have to give it a shot. I’ve had a lot of success using Almond Flour to make Banana Pecan Pancakes with this recipe:
1/2 cup Almond Flour
1 Egg
~1 Tbs Olive Oil
~1/8 cup water
~1 Tbs Splenda
~1 Tsp Banana Extract
~1/4 cup Chopped Pecans
This makes enough for a filling breakfast for one person. I’ll top it with a bit of sugar-free syrup and enjoy an awesome meal loaded with healthy fat, fiber, and very few net carbs.
1/3 cup Bob’s Redmill 7 or 10 grain waffle/ pancake mix
1 scoop of your favorite whey Pro
2 egg whites or one yolk and one white
dash of cinnimon
1 tbsp olive oil
1/4 cup of crushed or sliced almonds, walnuts, or pecans if raw stick them in the microwave for a min. or 2
1/4 cup blueberries or any wild berry(optional)
2 tbsp of milled flaxseed
about a cup of water I mix it until it is thick but pourable.
mix and pour in waffle maker makes about 3 you could easily make pancakes with it also. the waffle allows it to become a bit crispy if you like them that way.
run out of pancake mix? I have taken steel cut oats and soaked them overnite.
1/3 cup of oats and 1 cup of water cover and refrigerate
add 1 packet of instant oats I use a low sugar instant and add all of the other listed ingredients except the water. You may not need as much water I judge as I make it. It makes a great waffle.
Enjoy!

What do you guys put on your protein pancakes, waffles, french toast? Is there a sugar free syrup out there or?[/quote]
I use real maple syrup, strawberry jam, or sometimes I’ll mix Metabolic Drive Vanilla with plain yogurt and spread that on top of 'em. Mix a little fresh fruit in the yogurt/protein blend and you’re good to go.
