Pros Who Train by 'Instinct?'

I just thought I would pass this on and ask if there are other Bodybuilders (like Mike Francois a former IFBB Pro) who claim to train by instinct and not with a program? I listened to a bunch of audio interviews from EliteFTS and stumbled across a Mike Francois interview and I just thought the comment was interesting.

That’s how I train and it’s also how I got up to a 525 deadlift in one year of powerlifting at a body weight of 178.

Who else just follows their own lead?
